I've actually been away from the internet all dang day, and saw the headlines on my phone just a short while ago. Wish I had more time to hang on the thread right now with you guys - we've been here since Day One. I have to believe that they will find Relisha, one way or the other...

I also just got home from a 12 hour day and saw the news. I'm off to read the earlier post to get the details. Poor Relisha.....where are you honey?

I think that he may have been found in one of the two little buildings that appear to be connected, near the basketball courts and the play area. This would be using the entrance that leads into the park off of Anacostia Ave NE, across from Ord St NE.

I came to this conclusion by watching where LE pulled up to in the video below. I could be wrong though.

He was seen many many times since he was in that park, so it is highly unlikely.

This was posted right after *a body* was found. You were doubting that it was him and stated above. I would be interested in the links and who/what stated that he was seen many times. I haven't followed this thread closely so this peaked my interest when I saw this statement.

Now that Tatum has been found dead, I'm hoping that people who may have information about his whereabouts or actions the last few weeks will decide to speak up. I know most people in his circle probably have a distrust of LE and have little motivation to call in tips, but now that he's dead, at least the fear of Tatum retaliating against a witness for talking should be gone.

So at least that's one good thing that may come from Tatum being found dead, or at least I really hope so!

I hear ya. I would rather think Relisha is having fun in Heaven surrounded by love rather than living a life of he77. As I'm sure we all would. Yet I wonder too what and where do we go if she isn't there. He spent too much time in the park for her not to be there right?

Wonder if he was waiting for someone to meet him during those two hours? But that would not explain the shovel he purchased. Wonder where the shovel is - if it was in the utility area near where he was found. They will easily be able to tell if it was used. If he didn't remain and hide at the park I wonder when he went back.

Considering the jail is right there at the shelter, yes I would say seeing police vehicles there would be normal.

The date that he was known to be in the park for a two hour period was on 3/2 after buying the lime, shovel, and trash bags. The last confirmed sighting of Tatum was 3/20. During the time between 3/2 and 3/19 he continued to show up at work. He checked into the hotel where his wife was found, with his wife and three others, on 3/19 and left with one other on 3/20. His bank card was last used on 3/21.

I agree. That's what I found interesting is the fact that IF they did search that exact area previously then it's pretty obvious he just came to be there in the last few days or so. From what I have seen they have done a commendable job searching that park. It's huge! They have searched a lot of area, but like the Chief said, they still have a lot to cover. I believe they have been very well organized in the search and very thorough.

It is hard to even think this, but I would be relieved if this sweet baby girl was found buried in the park. I would rather know she was flying with the angels, than have to consider the obvious alternate reality that she could be suffering through. :rose:

This is what I feared. I think he planned this all along. Shamika said he told grandmom 'If anything ever happens to me or my wife, Relisha will be safe.' That's too odd a thing for a person to say, out of the blue.

I think he said because he planned to kill himself and his wife and Relisha - or already had killed her. And he did not want people looking for and finding her body because he didn't want anyone to know what he did to her.

This is so, so sad. I don't think there is any chance the little one is still alive now.

I'm sorry, I just can't seem to muster up any sympathy for even the grandmothers. I watched the video of the, "walk" and candlelight vigil. I didn't see any real tears. They can pray to any higher power they choose, fact is, if they cared so dang much, Relisha would still be here!!!

EVERY adult in Relisha's life FAILED her, IMO!

I don't for one single second give her mother a pass because she's uneducated. She seems to be smart enough to survive without working, yet still put Jordans on her kids feet! She finds the money to get high. She also doesn't appear to have missed a meal in a very long time!!! No, nunt uh, she gets no pass. A mother instinctively knows how to care for her children! She SUCKED at it!!! You don't get to have precious babies, dress them up, show them off, hug and kiss on them for the cameras, and then pimp them out, and expect to get away with it! You can't blame your upbringing for that. I don't CARE how hard life is, you do NOT give your child to another person to care for the way SY did. She should have put all of her children up for adoption, if she couldn't care for them!

I'm tired of seeing excuses being made for why SY may have done what she did. There is NO EXCUSE!!! I hope she gets arrested, charged, and punished harshly! Along with others who failed Relisha. I hope Relisha's brothers are put up for adoption and are finally able to feel the love that every child deserves. Most of all, I hope Relisha is found soon. I would love for her to be alive and well. My heart knows that's probably not going to happen so I just hope that she can soon be at peace!

BBM: I hope they are watching her closely too!!! It wouldn't surprise me one single bit, if she tried to kill herself. Relisha deserves better. Relisha deserves to be found.

I'm scared that with SY being so quiet all of a sudden, hers will be the next body found. I lease: that doesn't happen! I pray she does the RIGHT thing for once and stands up for her child.
