We need an accurate date on the https://m.facebook.com/kahlil.tatum/albums/119276978191330/Richmond sighting. Was it the 20th or the 27th of March? What day did they then recover the GMC truck, back from Richmond, and found in Maryland.

Is LE certain that Tatum was there in Richmond with the cellphone and the truck at Gilpin Court.

I agree with old window... He didn't need to go all the way to Richmond to get a gun. If he was with his phone and the GMC truck, in Richmond, then it was for some other reason.

I'm not sure about the Richmond/gun theory. Some have speculated here in regards to that. It's not anything confirmed as far as I know. But that is not my theory at all. I do not believe he went to Richmond to purchase or borrow or anything else in relation to a gun.

As for the dates prior to the 28th of March... none of that was put into the timeline today. That's all from the previous timeline, and what was already on the timeline (from 2/25 to 3/27) was verified via media links and hollye's map, and tweaked where needed after input here on the thread at that time.

I'll see if I can find the links for you (you might want to check the media/timeline thread though as most links there will verify the earlier information). I personally have so many saved, which I do in every case I follow, because for the purpose of a timeline I save EVERY link and video that I come across. The problem is that often they (the media) update over those links instead of posting a new link so info is lost. But I'll look for you (unless someone else beats me to it)

But to answer your questions to the best of my personal ability without the links: I only recall two mentions of Tatum and Richmond. The first being on the 19th when he left work abruptly and it was later determined he drove to Richmond and back, no reason given as to why. This was per LE early on in the case. The second time was on the 20th after AKT was found murdered and Richmond was given a BOLO on the truck... they reported a sighting back to DC police of the truck being sighted. I do not recall a sighting on the 27 of March. If you've heard/read/seen that I'd be interested in a link to that information please.

As for the Gilpin Court/Richmond cell pings... that was directly from LE. I'm not going to question them in regards to if they are sure or not. I don't see a running-around-with-their-heads-cut-off type of investigation here, so I trust that is correct. The only questions I myself have in regards to that is I have two different quotes regarding that. So I'm not sure what is correct. One media source said that LE stated KT made calls from his cell in that area a few days that week (being the first week of the investigation) and elsewhere it stated he made calls from his cell in that area and that LE was investigating a few days in that area. So that's why I put it on the timeline as I did, because I am not sure because of the possible misquotes in the media.

**IF anyone can clear that up (the Gilpin Court cell pings) for the purpose of the timeline I'd really appreciate it!

Yes the park and yes found. I am sadly pragmatic-- the park seems important to KT. I think his wife's murder was spontaneous and in response to having been discovered. I think Relisha is in the park and I hope beyond hope that she will be found if only b/c it will mean she is not suffering any longer in the hands of a child ring.

I check on this thread several times a day, each time I take a deep breath while the page loads, I am so sad to see the child focus. I was in the sm thread in the parking lot and along with others, checked certain profiles. It was uncomfortable.

I have three children who are my world, I'm over in the uk, feel so far away, but this little lady grabbed me, my heart is breaking for her.

I pray Relisha is found, then I hope they go all out on the family and charges are brought to ALL who failed her x

I'm SO frustrated that they are leaving the park. There was clearly a reason they spent so so many days there! I know they've done everything they can in that park..but I can't help feeling that she is there still, somewhere we haven't looked.

I think LE believes she is there also. But, I think if she is there, they know she isn't going anywhere - and they can do more searches later.

My guess is that the shift in the search right now to the aspect and exploitation is to make sure that - IF she is out there alive and being exploited, that they can try to find her --- even if it's just the smallest chance that she's still alive.

If she is at the park, the search can be postponed. If not, they need to rush to see if they can track her down.

That's the point I kept trying to make but it was being dismissed. No one just checks into hotels for the heck of it. The only time I check into a hotel is when I am on vacation, traveling for work or the one time the hubby and I needed a staycation.

Spot on! The only time DH and I checked into a local hotel a bad storm went through the area, it was an oppressively hot summer, and power was out all over the city. DH had just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and the heat was making him sick due to trial and error of meds. In other words, I thought it was the right thing to do.

Findingthemissing: I'm not looking for links. I've read most of them. My questions Re: Richmond are in relation only to the fact that the Richmond news articles, written and likely updated, continued to say, "last Thursday."...even by the 3/31/2014 reports.

I'm a DC/NVa native and have immediate family and friends in Richmond. So getting accurate dates as to how he traveled, if it was him and not someone using his phone & vehicle, two times/round trip in the space of approx. 36 hours and during all the BAD weather and I95 crazy and unpredictable traffic backups/accidents/ craziness. These days, unless you travel at night, a simple trip to Richmond from The DMV is typically no less than 2.5 hours and often 3+.

Late at night and early in the morning, going South, it can be done in 1 hour and 30-40 minutes. But, if you leave after 10:00AM and before 7:30PM, just be prepared to go 20 mph most of the way from Springfield to Fredricksburg. If you're heading north, one needs to leave Richmond after 8:00 AM in order not to get stuck in morning DC rush hour. It's not like it used to be...not a pleasant or leisurely trip.

I just want to pin down these trips. I feel like there was a ton of vehicle switching and am not sure if he really made both trips.

As late as yesterday, SY was using a profile picture on Facebook that shows Relisha sitting on a dirty carpet in a nightshirt and underwear showing. SY has absolutely no shame. Under any circumstances, that picture should not be public on Facebook or other social media.

OT: why does Relisha have a different last name from SY, her bio dad, or even her step parent?

It appears when that call was made, KT said he was at home but phone records revealed he was at the shelter. MTY's position/ how were we supposed to know? MK: you should've known better / verified. I'm going through some of my saved links because I want to be 100% sure that the timeline is accurate for all of us. I have found the following so far in relation to Richmond and Gilpin Court from a link directly from Richmond media.

Richmond Police said they spotted the pickup truck of the accused abductor of 8-year-old Relisha Rudd here in the Metro Thursday.

**Above was from the original post made on the evening of March 26th. That previous Thursday would have been the 20th. Doesn't state where, what time, or if Tatum was definitely in the truck when spotted, was it moving, parked, etc. So not much to go on other than the fact that "it was spotted in Richmond Metro area" per Richmond Police and the date was in fact March 20.

**So given the above media link I'm going to infer, for the purpose of the timeline, that the Gilpin Court phone calls were probably on the 20th of March when the truck was spotted in the area by Richmond Police. Simply because I cannot find confirmation anywhere now of Tatum being in Richmond area on the 19th. The only thing I can find that even alludes to that possibility is the following.

Later Thursday, D.C. police notified authorities in Richmond, Va., that Tatum and Relisha may be traveling in that area. Authorities were unable to say why they believed the two may be near the Virginia capital.

The link that I did have regarding Tatum driving to Richmond and back on the 19th is no longer available with that info. So either that was discounted and was removed OR it was possibly speculation on the part of the media and was then updated with that info discarded. :dunno: But I can't find that info now on any other media links. Maybe someone else still has a link because I remember it was posted by at least one other person. It was also on the timeline the media put out (WP I think) but not there now. And IIRC it was stated by the older man (not sure of his name now) who reports for Channel 4 I think.

So... I think I'm just going to remove the information on the timeline regarding Tatum leaving work and driving to Richmond and back on the 19th of March. Unless someone has proof that either happened or was said to have happened. Maybe hollye has a link or heard that info as well because I just checked her map and it she has the same info for the 19th as I have on the timeline. So that info was out there somewhere.
