Exactly???

Why would they say this when they KNOW that there are some major factors that point that direction?
WHY WOULD HE GO TO A HOTEL?
WHY WOULD THEY MEET IN THE RRI?
WHY WOULD AT get shot?
WHY IS EVERYTHING A LIE?
WHY IS HE DEAD THEN?

There is something way "darker" than just an abduction here - that would lead this to become the mess it is. Esp when he KNEW all he had to do was bring her home - because the fam was backing him up? LE couldn't say he abducted anyone....if the fam didn't say that - and they weren't....UNTIL AFTER HE PASSED....this is some BS.


Did Lanier answer questions Live or only through twitter responses?

I was thinking perhaps Tatum used those other people to convince his wife to go to the hotel with him because he planned to kill her and he knew she wouldn't go there with him alone.

I think that is an excellent theory. Totally possible.
My question from there would be...why did she say when all others left then?
Then the statement a witness or fam member made - "died defending what she believed" (could be creative language though)

Does this mean LE does not believe Relisha is alive in a child ring somewhere?? They must be relying on the facts that he was the last known person with her and he bought lime, shovel and trash bags. :anguish:

I see only one reason here, as they are not the people who would be trying to protect, or cover up for others. They are trying to protect themselves. Whatever happened to Relisha I think the family is up to their eyeballs in it.

They should all be arrested for obstruction of justice. Maybe then some of them will start talking truth.

And you know, MYT keeps trying to phrase things in a way that give KLT's actions an air of respectability, like saying he took her to a medical conference, then a retreat, waiving the 'Dr. Tatum' excuse around at the school. Why continue to whitewash the character of this man who shot his wife and then himself and has disappeared your granddaughter? Maybe because you were much, much more involved with any transactions involving KLT and Relisha than you will admit so you are trying to give yourself an air of respectability that you were dealing with a respectable man.

I want to SHAKE all of these family members.

MYT has and continues to defend and take up for KLT. MYT claims she doesn't believe KLT killed his wife. MYT has not even made a plea for Relisha to be found! MYT has had the ear of the media for weeks on end now, and she has not made a plea for Relisha to be found alive. MYT thinks she's playing the media and the public. MYT is trying to make everything surrounding Relisha's disappearance and the events leading up to it as "normal". MYT will be locked up along with SY, AW/TW and others. I hope MYT keeps talking.

Thank you! This makes sense. KLT had filed for divorce, it was said AKT was thinking of leaving KLT, and they had been having problems. I kept trying to think of a reason AKT would check into a hotel/motel with KLT, especially under the circumstances. This helps me understand that part. I guess KLT wanted AKT found quickly after he killed her? KLT already planned on trying to flee and/or kill himself before he killed AKT.

I wonder where each of them were living? Were they both staying in their apt.? Or did AKT kick KLT out? Did KLT stop staying at their apt.? Wasn't their apt. where LE found the photo of Relisha, the passports, cell phones, etc.? Sorry, I'm having brain fog right now!

Need to investigate possible connections in Richmond and Atlanta. KT went to both those locations during this time.
I am hoping LE is checking toll booth videos, GPS from his phone, looking at phone records, etc.
I am telling myself LE knows way more and is keeping close to the vest.
The only thing is - time is a factor! Every day that goes by is a day Relisha's captors may kill her if that is the case. The story is now world wide, and one 8 year old would not be worth keeping around.
I'm even scanning people and children here in Philly as I drive around looking for a cute little girl that may be her!

BBM. Exactly! If she had to be convinced to go that indicates some level of fear or apprehension on her part . So, WHY would she stay when the others left? IDK, maybe she was incapacitated before the others left ?? If so, the others did nothing, and just left ?? Not so much as an anonymous call to 911?? If so, then they contributed to AT's death, and they need to be held accountable for it.

BBM. Yes, ITA. Especially since Chief Lanier (in the WTOP interview this morning) stated (in response to a question) there was NO PROOF that Relisha has been murdered. I know many of us have gut feelings and different opinions of what happened...but without proof, and not just the trash bags and lime, but real physical proof (i.e., Relisha's body...oh how I hate typing that :cry, we must assume she is alive.

Ok, something is confusing the mess out of me again. Is it the 13th or the 19th that they are saying Relisha had already miss 30 days of school? Even with the excuses from Dr. Tatum(because I couldn't spell "Mr." his name. What was the last day Relisha was physically seen in school? And, no matter how you look at it....why would the grandmother give Tatum's(janitor at a shelter) name to the school to be contacted for any information??? And remember something else, they said that most of her absences had doctor's excuses. Now, if it was the 13th of March, had RR not been in since February 11th??? Or if it was the 19th of March, had RR not Vermont school since February 19th??? Both of these days where before Grandma's initial date of last seeing RR...were they so nonchalant because this was not the first time she disappeared??? Because AW/TW, said in one of his interviews, "he always brings her back."

I sure would like to see RR's attendance record from the beginning of the school year. Because, IMO...Dr. Tatum was signing attendancestors notes prior to this time.

Also, IMO grandma might be getting paid for interviews but she's going to end up footing the bill for having a part in RR's disappearance....like obstruction to justice, child endangerment, etc. I think Le wants grandma to keep putting her foot in her mouth to be honest even though we would like her to drink some hot bleach with no chaser but again it's JMO.

Last thought for the moment, we all seem to know that something is fishy about the car accident but what if the people in the sued the owner of the car...Liability insurance would cover the riders up to a certain amount & insurance company just settled...just another money scam...probably thought up by grandma...isidk, but it's MOO.

Excellent post. I'm a local also, and here is something about trafficking in Richmond:



They left out the fact that I-85 hits I-95 not too far from Richmond. Hop on it and head to Atlanta, or take I-95 to I-20 to Atlanta.

I hope that Relisha is found but if she is out there still alive, then she needs to be found fast. The horrors of an 8-yr-old being trafficked for sex are just too much to think about…

I just can't figure out where the trash bags and lime come into play, if she was sold.

There's one more Rt 301 out of PG County to Rt 1 all the way into the seediest parts of Richmond.

Not exactly sure what LE believes, but in Chief Lanier's interview this morning, she said there is no proof that Relisha has been murdered.

That is what lead to the searching of the park.

When searching in the park for Rudd, Lanier says the department was hoping they didn’t find the worst, but had to search the park because that is where evidence pointed them.

When AKT was found, media was reporting she had been beaten to death. Then it turned out she was shot to death. My question is if AKT was both beaten and shot?
