Looks liks SY has accepted Relisha is no longer with us.. Probably because she knows exactly what's happened to her. The woman is completely detached. Be it by drugs, be it by emotions, be it by denial.. We know she is not quite right in her replies and reactions.

I cannot bear to look or listen to this family anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if SY mentioned to MY that KT was sniffing around her and her Daughter , and that MY encouraged SY to make it work to her own (SY or MYs) advantage.

Kt was no kindly Father figure. Kindly father figures like all children, not just little girls of a certain age and they don't take them to motels or anywhere else alone.

I hope this family keep talking . The more they talk, the bigger hole they dig.

Is there a 9 year old granddaughter of KT's? Has anyone established this as a fact or is it more fiction?

I wondered about this myself. When I saw the photos of the shrug and the pretty flowered dress said to have been purchased by KT for RR for Easter back in November (I think it was really bought for a Christmas dress, but they are saying it is Easter for some reason)...it made me think perhaps when they do find RR she will be wearing the dress and shrug or have them with her because her family indeed knows. How interesting they would bring out the dress photos for the media and even tell what kind of bag the pieces of clothing would be in if found.

What if something happened to RR when she was with KT AND some of the family then KT helped dispose of her? Possible? KT was already going to be in trouble for so many things and it would explain so much.

This is the theory my gut has always led me to as well.

I still suspect KT was exploiting RR in some way with SYs permission or cooperation and something went wrong. Like I have said before - he may have been drugging Relisha so she didn't know anything had taken place when she woke up and SY may have supported this. This is why SY has kept out of the blaming KT loop. She is watching her words as others will know SY cooperated with KT. Sadly I believe it didn't cost KT much to get access to RR. You'd be surprised at how little a cost a child can be exploited for.

I'm sure the family are saying the clothes were for Easter because it then shows KT had intention of RR being alive until then and so did they, its an odd cover up story , like 'we let him still keep her because we didn't think he would kill her - look, he bought her clothes for Easter, why would he do that if he intended to kill her. See, we were duped'. Defence .

I just saw a comment from someone on social media asking DC police if Relishas Amber Alert has ended because a sign on hov entrance heading to VA from downtown is off.

I'm in the UK and have no idea what that means, can anyone enlighten me please - would that be a sign on the roads?

Is the FBI on Relisha's case now too?

For some reason, this particular missing child has garnered the attention of millions.
But you know, there are hundreds of missing children right now not getting this attention. It boggles my mind.
IMHO, this gang did not expect Relisha to even be missed -just one little anonymous homeless girl, neglected, no stable environment. I think they were blindsided by all the publicity, believing no one would notice her absence. They thought they could bull$hit the system with fake medical notes, pull the flip flop that she is here or now she is there, nobody would follow up and eventually would forget about this child.
now they are stumbling and fumbling to make up coordinated stories, covering for their lies, passing the blame and throwing off investigators. They were not prepared for the onslaught of media and having to answer the questions.
I believe, though, the murder of AT and KT's death threw the missing child case into a higher gear. Had Tatum quietly made off with the child, the school/shelter/social workers would have been told Shameika gave permission for the child to live elsewhere, etc. - Relisha may just be gone like so many other children.
Hopefully, some good will come of this such as more intense investigation of child trafficking, due to Relisha's story.
And I believe she may still be alive somewhere.

BBM. I agree with this . They didn't expect LE and the public would put forth much more concern for their missing family member than they do themselves. ;)

IMO I think it could be possible. With KT paying attention to Relisha and if something happened to her at home, what better way to deflect blame than to blame it on the janitor, esp once you heard that he killed his wife.

WOW! This is totally intriguing. Do the dates match up , though? I keep thinking about the 2 or 3 ? witnesses who saw him in the hotel and saw his wife on the bed and were cooperating with LE and I even posted ' why didn't they mentioned relisha' if they had been around him and his wife so much the last few weeks.
Add to that LE found NOTHING on KT's body to assist with finding Relisha . Add to that they found the man in the surveillance video , who must have been involved with KT somehow and he cooperated and again gives nothing that can help in finding Relisha. So if that guy was near enough KT to be of some use to LE, why didn't he have any knowledge of Relisha whatsoever that can help ?

I'm not suggesting he did nothing wrong or never took Relisha. But it's an interesting theory since we have little else to chew on at this point. Could this be? Those of you who have followed much more closely will know if its' plausible. TIA !

I wouldn't put too much stock into that. When I drove that road the other day, one sign was malfunctioning, only showing the top half of each letter. The bottom halves were jumbled. Completely unreadable.

However, I think an Amber Alert serves a specific purpose: a child was taken and there is an ID or vehicle that is known and time is of the essence. Sadly I think Relisha's case has moved on from the Amber Alert stage, since we know that she is no longer with KT and could be anywhere. :(

KT brought Relisha to a hotel, just the two of them. I am 100% certain he abused her in that hotel.

I wouldn't rely too much on any statements from friends. "Snitches get stitches" is the saying for a reason. People lie all the time.

BBM. Yes, electronic signs with flashing or scrolling text. Typically they include the words: Amber Alert, along with description of a vehicle, vehicle's license plate number, and number to call. The signs are usually on heavily traveled roads...highways, expressways, toll roads, etc.

Do a Google image search on the phrase "amber alert signs," and you will see lots of examples. HTH.

I've spent time going thru people's "Follows" not friends but follows and this observation is totally random but........ Why do so many people say they work at one of 3 places: Ralph Lauren, H&M, or Forever 21?

Right near the end, they said something about KLT maybe related to IR, Relisha's bio-dad. Was this a rumor they heard, or is he related in some way? I hope WUSA9 will post this webcast on their site and YT, and put a transcript on their site as well. There were a couple times when the feed cut out for a few seconds.

ETA: I'm glad WUSA9 did this special, and I hope they stick with this case like they said they will.

They said Tatum passed himself off as an uncle. A relative of the dad at ther shelter so the shelter didn't think anything about him spending time with the kids.

Every time there's a new interview I just seethe with rage. Just ONE TIME show genuine concern for your granddaughter/daughter, you cows!

My heart just aches for Relisha. If these interviews are anything to go on, so few people truly cared about her well being. No kid should have to endure that type of indifference from their own family members. I keep praying that she's found soon so she never has to endure this type of B***S*** ever again. (I think all the members of WS will spoil her rotten via mail)

While I like that they're digging themselves holes in all of these interviews, I cannot WAIT for the day they are thrown in jail.

Not being heavily involved in child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or trafficking, leads me to believe that he wasn't creating/selling child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or kidnapping children for trafficking. JMOO

http://dcps.dc.gov/DCPS/Articles/Forms/Attendance Brochure for Parents & Students.pdf

D.C. Public Schools Attendance/Truancy Brochure

School Attendance is the Law

Elementary school students with 10 or more unexcused absences will be referred to the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) for suspected educational neglect.

25 or more unexcused absences will result in a student/parent referral to the Office of the Attorney General or Court Social Services.

(Promised this earlier, in CA it's only 8:30 and I had to walk the dog after work.)

bouncing off your post...
I am still curious about the comment from MTY regarding Relisha having another week of medical leave left. Was that an excuse of KT to 'keep her' longer…had those dates already been blocked out incase someone asked...Or just MTY stumbling for more words to support KT having Relisha. I can't quite put it together since I can't find the full interview. It really stood out to me and I guess I'm trying to figure out where/why this Lie was told. They all seem to be the 'cover ups' of something. In the bigger scheme of things it doesn't really matter. So much they are hiding. Boggles the brain!

I am astounded at the ignorance of these people. Do they really, honestly think that people are believing what comes out of their mouths?! And if so why? Because they get away with lying all the time? Or are they really that unintelligent? Or are the consequences of telling the truth that frightening to them? and I don't mean being arrested, I mean who they are keeping mum about.

When you have been caught doing something that is wrong and you know it was wrong (you have something to hide) you are left with either admitting it or coming up with some sort of story to try to cover. Often that story is lame to other people who do not have the flawed thinking that comes along with doing the wrong thing and thinking it is okay.

If you are not a drug addict, you are not going to have the same lack of reasoning skills as the addict.

An idiot doesn't know they are an idiot!

They lies and mystery surrounding her disappearance is what draws attention. That is what pushed Caylee Anthony's story into the fore-front. All the lies and obvious covering for the bad behavior of the mom. It's not that one child is more important than any other missing child. It's just that some cases are just so mind-boggling that it draws people in various ways. Some find the behavior of the parties involved unbelievable and others are trying to solve the mystery.

Each case we hear about breaks my heart because I know that it is just the tip of the iceberg and there is little we the people can do to stop it because these children are often unwanted and are considered the property of irresponsible, and often criminally minded people. JMO

On WUSA's special last night, they said they verified the insurance money and she received shortly after Relisha was reported missing by LE.
