just because there are so many hotels seemingly involved in this case. I wanted to clarify the discussion about the hotel that had video of Relisha being escorted into a room by Tatum.

the Days Inn in MD was the hotel that the body of Tatum's wife was located in.

The surveillance footage of Rudd and Tatum was taken on February 26 at the Holiday Inn Express located in the 1900 block of Bladensburg Road in Northeast D.C.

The hotel in question does have a pool and I am almost certain that there are cameras that would have spotted RR and KT entering and swimming and leaving, etc.




So, there is no evidence of RR on March 1, just a witness statement that says she was seen at a homeless shelter on RI ave.

I am originally from the area and the Holiday Inn is a nice hotel, the Days Inn is where prostitutes and druggies go.

Do we trust the witness statement that RR was seen on March 1? I don't know...what if this person was a friend/accomplice of KT and was trying to cover for him?

Does anyone have a copy of the video of RR dancing from instagram?

There was a video clip a few seconds long of SY, Relisha and other children taken at AS's apt. The dancing video is not the video from March 1. I don't know the date of the dancing video, but that is not the video from March 1, even though media has used the dancing video in some stories regarding March 1. Confusing enough without MSM making it more so!

Some when I went back to re-read I found were no longer on-line, others have been updated. I started copying them in full to my computer once I realized that you sometimes can't go back and find them. I have marked the ones that I couldn't find at that time and made note of the ones that were no an updated article. There may be others that are no longer on-line since I started to make a copy, so if you attempt to read something and its not there you can pm and I will send you my copy.

The Holiday Inn is the hotel we've seen video of KLT and Relisha at on Feb.26. The Red Roof Inn is where AKT and KLT checked in the night of March 19, and where AKT's body was found on March 20. The Days Inn is where LE have placed KLT and Relisha at the time of her disappearance, and the last known date Relisha was known to be alive on March 1.

The man sought in the disappearance of an 8-year-old girl had contact with other young girls at the homeless shelter where he worked, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said Friday.

Lanier said it's not known whether Khalil Tatum's interactions with those girls were sexual in nature, and officers are in contact with their families.

"We don't have enough information right now to know that. We do know that he had contact with those girls," Lanier said.

I had not seen this one before. It gives a bit more info on the nature of the gifts being offered to other children at the shelter

NO. The Red Roof Inn in Oxon Hill, MD is where AT's body was found.

The Days Inn in DC is where KT checked in on March 1, alone. No one saw Relisha with him at the hotel.

The Holiday Inn in DC is where the surveillance video of RR and KT was taken on Feb 26.

If she was at a homeless shelter there is a good chance there was some paperwork about her. Also there would have been shelter worker statements. Also some possibilty of cameras. With this kind of independent verification, LE could easily determine she was there.

IIRC yes.

Here is kinda what I think could have happened....

Relisha was with KLT off and on. Possibly she was returned to family while at gma's house. Something happened. Panic. Disposed of body. Decided to say she was with friend or ill if someone asked. Too many questions being asked, pressure being applied. Lots of squirming being done. Since she never went back to shelter there is no witnesses to them having Relisha they think. Finally admits to Relisha being with KLT sometimes. All very innocent. Family friend. Possibly by that time he may have stopped coming to work any way. He had to know LE would look at him.

LE goes to find him and finds wife instead. But family is stuck with their original story. And maybe they didn't get all the details worked out. Like who saw her last, who let her go with him. When. More details needed to cover and distract and explain why she went with him to hotel so pool party. Swimsuit to prove that, didn't think of why they would have the suit. And so on and so on and so on.

Please note I said "could" have happened.


From what I hear about this family I have to believe they would have some street smarts. And one of the early things a child raised like this learns is to recognize a perv. IMO they knew.

And I still haven't figured out why he bought shovel and lime.

He knew how it would appear at least. Maybe the family threatened to lay it all on him before he took drastic measures and he knew he couldn't explain anything away?

We have not heard that KT has done a single untoward thing to any child (and I do realize that means nothing so no hate mail please). There is the slim chance he was being the nice guy to RR. But it doesn't matter since there would be no way to prove he didn't molest her if she was gone. Their word against his?

The shovel, bags, and lime purchased together have to indicate something significant. People without gardens don't need lime or shovels.

I hate to ask you for a link, but I've been trying to find out the ground conditions at the park, and I've speculated the ground may have been too frozen or too hard. If you have a link addressing this, I'd love to see what was said, even though I think it may have been too hard or frozen.

I agree that is also plausible. Especially if he knew he wasn't totally innocent. It would also explain the family not automatically accusing him. They may have wanted to allow him time to get away.

RR was seen at the VW homeless shelter across from Home Depot the 1st or 2nd of the month, but later the witness mentioned he also ran into KT. Was RR with someone else there? Was she with him at HD and seen on video while he was buying the shovel etc.?

I would have to wade through all the many threads here as it was a member who lived in the DC area. I will see if I can get another form of proof.

I will have to apologize and withdraw my assertion the ground was frozen at that time. According to this...the weather was too warm for that to be true. Sorry. Glad you made me look!

LE is saying she was last seen on Mar. 1 right? I think Home D. was on the second. If she was seen on camera on 3-2 LE wouldn't say the first. Right?

SY is telling the children to say "Hi, Instagram!". Nothing was said about Relisha being seen at Home Depot. She was not seen there. From what was discussed in earlier threads, some locals said the VW Homeless Shelter wasn't/isn't an active resident live-in shelter anymore. It was said that after this place was no longer an active homeless shelter, it started to be run as a resource center instead. There was more than one witness who talked about KLT on March 1, one of which didn't want to be identified. That's why this report is confusing.
