I keep thinking that when LE became involved, on March 19th, they couldn't reach KT on his phone and then tried calling numbers found in his employment emergency contact info. I suspect that his wife, AKT, got a call and likely a visit from LE.

I don't believe that the Tatum's were evicted from their home on 25th st NE. The eviction was at an older residence that he had sublet to a third party. That apartment was completely empty when US Marshals arrived to serve/execute the eviction. "...The apartment is located in the 3500 block of Hayes St NE. I believe that AKT agreed to meet KT at the RRI and agreed to rent the room for him because she wanted to understand why LE was looking for him.

Hmmm...I thought Witness #2 helped him search for a gun. I think RSL was Witness #1.

Nothing has been released about his remains or any kind of a service for him. I do find it strange since he had family. One would think a quiet memorial might be held or something.

RSL was discussed back in the first threads. Of the other two people who were at the Red Roof Inn that night, one of them was a woman. It's unknown whether the third person was a man or woman, but I bet it was another man. The part about witness 1 and witness 2 is somewhat confusing, so I would have to reread that if I can find a link. RSL is also KLT's brother-in-law, he was married to KLT's sister who died in 2012.

RSL was discussed more in the first threads. I don't know if there's a link naming him as the one who drove KLT to the train station. There's been so much media since this all started, but through discussion, it's pretty much accepted that RSL is the one who drove KLT to the train station. RSL is also KLT's brother-in-law, being married to KLT's sister who died in 2012.

The March 1 video SY posted on Instagram was not the dancing video, but one with SY, Relisha and other children at AS's apt. It's just a clip really, a few seconds long. It has SY high as a kite telling the children to say "Hi Instagram!". I posted a youtube video of ABC news footage somewhere on the last couple pages that shows it, the Days Inn, and more.

I think someone here said RSL is the one who drove KT to the train station but it has not been mentioned anywhere in MSM so I have no clue where this notion came from.

Until we find a link, that theory should be eliminated from this situation.

ETA: shadow of my mind's extensive post in the media thread brings up an important point: many of the MSM articles have been updated or deleted since Relisha's story broke.

This can make fact-checking and sleuthing extremely complex, and frustrating at times. I've seen this happen in other recent cases. LE can pull pertinent details from news stories, they will be rewritten, and what was once considered "fact" can become a rumor in a flash. They do so to protect their cases :moo: It's easier when the point you're trying to make was snipped onto the thread, before it's deleted or updated away for posterity (or until it is "re-released" at trial).

IF KLT was dropped off at the Metro station, or any train station (I'm not a local, so the geographical locations escape my insomniac brain ATM), I am hopeful it was captured by video camera, and LE is aware of it. :twocents:

The unedited IG video was first noticed in the PL on 3/27. Go to post #189.

I asked other WSers "Could it be" Relisha (after initially posting the wrong link). It appears ABC didn't post their story (with the siblings redacted/Relisha emphasized & timestamp confirmed) until a few days later.

Wow. Is there confirmation she was sold into trafficking or is this article just speculating? Over the weekend, I've tried to keep up but this case is getting murkier and murkier every day. How many adults are responsible for Relisha's fate? It's bad enough to think of one evil predator out there but to imagine many adults conspiring against an 8 yrs old is hard to handle. Don't you think that when many adults are involved that one adult somewhere along the 'chain' would say " hey wait, wtf , this is a baby. you guys are crazy. i'm taking this child to safety, stop this ''? But no one did

This is exactly what I have been discussing with my DH for several days. Since KT is dead most things that we think we know are based on what the other people in the hotel room and SY/ MYT say. We know the family lies just for the sake of lying.
The Easter dress is bugging me. Why would the family mention one specific outfit? Why would they think it might be found discarded somewhere, as opposed to just left behind in KT's apt? THAT gives me the impression that the family knows Relisha was wearing that dress, or it is covered with evidence and dumped somewhere.

This is what George Turner claimed he heard on the blogtalk radio program. I don't believe it either, and I can't remember where GT said he heard this. In my opinion George Turner is grasping at straws where SY and MYT are concerned in regard to Relisha's disappearance. He reminds me of the ostrich who kept his head in the sand. That's what GT is doing. No one here is claiming these things, only relaying what GT said in the radio interview.

And George Turner said on the blog that Tatam was friends with the family for 5 years and yet he had never met him. Very strange. JMOO

Have to agree with you. There is something going on with those clothes.
Firstly there were photos of them on MYT"s facebook still with label on it.
Why would they be bought for this Easter last year? Why not Christmas?

Also why aren't they mentioning other clothes she had with her?
Some one must have packed her a bag with clothes if she was staying over at Tatum's.

The bottom line is that KLT had secrets that he was willing to kill and die for. It appears that the wife was murdered sometime AFTER Relisha was either killed or handed off to some other party.

I agree the wife's killing may have had something to do with the divorce. Is it possible he was under the impression that she would never be able to testify against him while they were married? I've said all along that the wife is really the key to this whole thing. She KNEW something. I don't think she even had to know Relisha per se, because she knew KLT's pattern well enough to know exactly what was going on.

I think the people in the background were at George Turner's residence. Warren asked GT if he could turn down the background noise -like it was a radio or TV blaring - it sounded like real people, kids, a lot of drama :drama: in the background. It also sounded like someone was telling GT what to say in response to the questions being asked GT - especially about Relisha's shoes (I thought it was either SY or her mother, Melissa). Someone spoke in the background and then GT said red and gray just like the ones she's wearing now. I nearly called the tip line! I would like to hear the interview with Ashley, SY's sister, the day before this interview which was last Thursday (04/10/2013).

In true procrastinator fashion, I have put off filing my taxes and my husband says we have to do them TODAY! I would love to transcribe this interview and the questions that were asked. One minute GT is saying KLT should be glad he's dead because he really wanted to get his hands on KLT and make him suffer long and slow. Then the next he's saying he thinks Andrea was protecting Relisha and that is why she was killed and he said KLT was killed because he was protecting Relisha.

Okay, who is BW who said Relisha was like a granddaughter to her? Is that SY's fiancé, significant other, whatever's mother? By the way she talked, she was in contact or kept Relisha quite often - or does she lie too? OMG! :banghead:

Court documents also show that police searched a storage locker on South Capitol Street rented in August of last year by the Tatums. The documents say the last payment was made on March 3, two days after Relisha was last seen, and the rent had been paid through March 31. Police said they were looking for evidence of Relisha, photographs, documents and a weapon. The document says police seized mail and photos.

Derrica Wilson, President and CEO of Black and Missing Foundation (BAM), has been very vocal and feels very strongly about the possibility that Rudd may have been trafficked.[

Wilson, a former law enforcement officers with the Arlington County Sheriff’s Department in Virginia, was at the park during the search for Rudd. Her instinct was telling her that the little girl was not in the park.
