True. I think the news story will have the same information and the radio will give us something new to analyze. I'm THRILLED that the station is doing a part 2 on Relisha, because it keeps her face out there! :loveyou: I don't want the story to go cold!

Interesting. I am doing some FB sleuthing and a family member of Relisha's with the same last name has a status about his new place. [modsnip]
So he must have also lived in a shelter for some time.....

I don't think it's that strange GT never met him. Why would he? My husband has never met half of my kid's friend's parent. I know my father has never met any of them. We all live in the same neighborhood.

Just answering your "why would he?". This man wasn't a normal kid's parent IMO. He was her "Godfather" *air quotes*. This man wasn't little Amy's dad at the school. I think it's very strange that GT hadn't met KT. Not saying that GT is lying, but he may have avoided GT for a reason or MT and SY made sure that the two didn't cross paths.

You are not allowed in the shelter unless you live there. So in order for GT to meet KT he would have to meet him outside.

I'm not sure why GT would have met him? KT is a crook, a smart crook, he probably had enough sense to stay away from GT.

When has anyone said he was the Godfather?

I have godparents and I haven't even seen them since I was 3 or 4.

Lanier said there had not been any confirmed sightings of Tatum since shortly after his wife's homicide. Lanier said the girl's family identified Tatum as Relisha's "godfather" and that she had her mother's permission to be with him.

Here is a Washington Post article published yesterday. Once again, we are given conflicting information regarding the last time Shamika saw Relisha. It is stated that Relisha was not seen by Shamika after 2/26. I have emailed Peter Hermann questioning the dates due to the Instagram video reportedly being recorded with Shamika, Relisha and the boys on 3/1.

Oh, and I also advised him that May 31 date should have been March.

Guess we will agree to disagree because I think it's weird that they hadn't met. The family said tatum was a godfather type. I don't think he was a real godfather who was at a christening. And most people who have godparents are around them. You always have exceptions to the rule but parents normally give close friends and family the title of "godparent".

Different families men have different degrees of involvement. Some families the kids are totally considered the women's responsibility. Some families the grandparents are totally involved in the kids lives and some not. In some famlies the hubby home, some hubby spends most of the day down the street somewhere. Yes he could be lying about it but he very well may be telling the truth.

Yes one thing that make me say this is because the Richmond gave him a ride to Richmond and back but left his car in the dc area. Who would do that. he has done no wrong or did he.?

To me I think he knows more than he is saying. He helped him look for gun ,then picked him up after tatum murder his wife?. Then gave him his car so he could avoid police? But was dropped off at the train station, some say with this young girl?. tatum apartment clean empty.. The Richmond guy car abandoned,??

I have been around the block before and this wrecks of a murder hit /child sex case . The pattern is just too clean. For my liking.. Im sorry

Maybe Tatum knew this.? maybe the richmond guy knew this.. To many players in this to me ,to blame just one.

Well......I'm perhaps jaded by SY but I took it as deflecting, nothing much else to say etc. etc. I didn't hear any pleading for her safe return. I didn't hear concern in her voice. In fact I didn't hear anything worth noting. Just bouncing off your post :seeya:

anywho I will maintain and bet my next pay check that these people did not know "dr.mr.tatum" before the shelter.
their narrative of not knowing him prior changed after people were dumbfounded they gave this child over to the shelter janitor.
somewhere in the beginning stages and posted in thread #1 or #2 SY said she was impressed with how he buffed the shelter floor when asked why she would trust him.

It has been said that KT put on a persona of being more than he was with the way he dressed and what he drove. Maybe being from Kenilworth was something he didn't tell people because of the area being poverty stricken? He could have told her he was from somewhere else so she was surprised to learn the truth.

Agree. Likely some signs of missing critical periods of learning evident today? And drugs abuse which is known to fry a few brain cells. I have a feeling this Gal is plenty street smart. IMO.
