Ashley says Shamika left her (Ashley's) home with Uncle Danny, Relisha and the boys on March 1st - after the Instagram video.

Antonio says Shamika left all four kids at Ashley's home on March 1st - after the Instagram video - to meet him to go to the movies. The boys were returned (when?) - without Relisha. He doesn't know what happened to Relisha after that - she was with her grandmother and Ashley. They are liars. Oh, and Relisha attended his son's birthday party on March 8th. ???????

Yepper. When TW said he was advised to lay low from threats from a Lawyer I LMAO. Nooooo TW they would tell you to STFU.

When they call her in this time, they will know much more about what happened, who did what and when. There has been different witnesses in the media, and they didn't seem to know much. But the witnesses that knew something, LE will usually tell them to stay out of the media. So when called for another interview, noone will know what LE knows, who they have talked to or what evidence they have. Another way they are f$#&%.

By the time they get called in again they will have three choices.

To refuse to talk. Which won't matter because LE will already have evidence. And not talking won't get them any sympathy cooperation from LE. They won't be able to offer their side of what happened or correct anything LE does get wrong (accident vs deliberate murder.) So LE will go hard line with them.

They can take an attorney. Which will be about the same as above.

They can lie. That will give them a world of hurt. Because by the time LE calls them in again they will know what happened. And after they have put all the work into this they won't be at all sympathetic about being lied to.

Or they can come out with it. Tell the truth their way including their intentions. Sometimes that helps when it comes to any prosecution. When LE has to say they cooperated.

What they can't count on is the old "no body, no crime." These days LE is regularly prosecuting cases where they don't have a body.

I've been gone all afternoon/evening and finally had a chance to catch up. I don't think I want to listen to the radio show recording but from everything you all wrote, sounds like my thoughts last night about MY and AY being involved were wrong.

I'm so confused! I can't make a decision and stick with it.

If KT really made that statement about RR being set for life with his life insurance then it makes no sense that he would hurt her. Did he give her away to give her a better life??

I woke up from a nightmare of Relisha myself - my own daughters were in the dream. It was terrifying.

I couldn't sleep after that. I kept checking on them, fast asleep in their beds. My eldest has braids, and honestly looks like Relisha in certain photos. My daughter noticed it herself, and this case scares her. We plant flowers, light luminarias, and do balloon releases. WS is a part of our lives, and they've learned valuable lessons already, especially about staying safe.

How do you explain the world to children? I don't have those answers, especially when they see me online - finding balance isn't easy. I have been in over my head with case after case as a lurker and more so once I joined here. They understand, especially since a close family friend went missing a little over 2 years ago.

Every case becomes a part of you, and for the ones who don't make it home, they take a piece of you as they gain their wings and fly high.

I just try to remind myself that someway, somehow, one day, they all will know how much we care - especially the ones who weren't loved as they should have been.

Sending you a big hug - and hoping tonight we both manage to get some sleep. I am proud to sleuth with you and everyone else here!

Thanks for posting this. This is exactly how I felt about leanne bearden. She is what brought me to you guys. I still think about her often. I cried like she was my own family when it came out she committed suicide. I still have trouble believing it.

I threw that thought out awhile back. That he did everything he did to save her from her life the way it was. I just couldn't figure out why his wife was killed though. I thought maybe he killed himself so he wouldn't be forced to tell where he sent her. Maybe I am just wishing that's true. :blushing:

That's not necessarily true. Some life insurance policies have clause that suicide voids the policy if committed within 2 years (or whatever specified length of time) from the date of inception.

I think one thing we need to realize is that just because Relisha cried to go with Tatum does not mean she wasn't being abused by him. His abuse might not have caused her physical pain, as much as being punched, but the type of abuse he is accused of certainly causes emotional problems that may not immediately be perceived by an 8 year old.

Me too! Leanne was how I discovered this site. After that case - I thought - never again will I go thru that - I was horrified by that outcome. Then I found myself checking in but still refused to get sucked in ...until I saw Relisha.

George Turner strikes me as having the wool pulled over his eyes....BUT seems to have a little ethics and morals....he seems sincere in his respect for the children. His daughter - also seems to be believable. She showed true emotion in her disgust for this BS.

My guess is a warrant that hadn't been served.....and then this happens and LE knows exactly where to find her.....Here's your warrant!

And I'm of the opinion that it's possible her ' grooming' period may have gone on for months without any actual ' abuse' so for her going with him may have meant a fun outing away from the shelter where someone was actually paying attention to her and giving her gifts and such.......making her feel special.
OH ...... is this monster the only one on earth who ever made her feel special ?

Interesting charges filed on 3/31. Hmmm, attempt thwarted by someone, maybe. All in the midst of Relisha's disappearance. Good grief. So much diversion from finding Relisha. LE must feel as if Pandora's Box will never be closed again with this cast of characters. The BS is never-ending.

This might sound like a dumb question, but given the cast of characters I guess I will fit right in!!

If a minor is named as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy would the legal guardians have to be notified of the policy or is the minor just listed and then its dealt with if something happens to the policy owner.....Is anyone picking up what I am putting down?

I feel that these interviews have really expanded the realm of possibility as far as "what happened to Relisha"
1. She was sold, KT killed wife to ensure silence
2. She was killed accidentally/on purpose by KT, KT killed his wife as well.
3. She was injured during some type of abuse by a member of her family (AW, MTY, AY, SY) and wasn't given medical care, resulting in her death at some point, with a group cover up

Not sure how AT and KT's deaths connect in scenario #3...
