You know what I don't get? Why hasn't SY, AY and MYT been arrested for ObJ, Child Endangerment/Abuse/Neglect? They have all been lying from the beginning. LE knows this. It was reported that both SY and MYT were responsible for the "Dr.Tatum" notes to the school explaining Relisha's absences. That alone should get them charged with something! And if LE is waiting to make a case against them for more serious charges, then why not charge them and anyone else who's lied to them regarding Relisha, with what they can now, and lay more charges on them later??

I sadly do not think Relisha is with us and I think her family knows this is fact. I think someone passed her on to Tatum and Lyles and she was passed around to some evil horrible men who had their way with her and she died in the process. I think Tatum hid the body somewhere with SY's knowledge. I think AT knew or found out or even had guessed KT was involved and threatened to call the cops and she was killed. Then I think the smoke cleared and KT realized what he had done and couldn't face himself, or the fact that he would be locked up for the rest of his life and he killed himself.


That is my opinion and I can't seem to find anything that will change my mind so in the meantime I am going to step away from this case for a bit...

These people aren't saying anything because they know justice will be served in the streets.

Maybe so they don't get a public defender who advises them to shut their mouths for good. More information this way.. even if only accidental?

Last day Relisha is seen alive, according to D.C. police.
D.C. police chief Cathy Lanier said there is no confirmed sightings of Tatum and Relisha together after March 1, and no sightings of Relisha at all after that date.

I can't remember...WHERE was the confirmed sighting of Tatum and Relisha together on March 1? I apologize if this has already been answered. TIA

Police said they concentrated their search on the park based on a tip and because Tatum was spotted there after he bought 42-gallon trash bags about the time Relisha was last seen. That March 1 sighting of the girl occurred on Bladensburg Road, near motels that police say Tatum had stayed in, including at least one stay with Relisha.

JMO, but at this point, I don't think LE will get anything from SY, AW, AY and MYT than what we have all heard from them. Maybe if LE locks them all up on what they can now they'll start getting some answers.

I thought about this last night. Consider the fact that Social Servicea documented cases (plural) of abuse in the Young family, but did not remove the children. This has been released via the media and the Mayor has promised a full investigation. To my knowledge, the results have yet to be released. IMO, they won't be until this case is closed (or until we are at a point where someone all of the major players are charged).

Now, let's imagine Relisha was taken into a wonderful home, by a family that was completely lied to (I am fantasizing here, but I need some positivity at the moment). Would there be any way possible for them to be vetted to keep Relisha (if a full and thorough investigation PROVED unequivocally that they did nothing wrong)? Except for maybe dealing with the wrong people? If they were found to be free from committing any crime, could this family be allowed to take in her siblings, and provide all four kids with true stability, for the 1at time in their collective lives?

Wow, just typing that out makes me sound crazy, huh? Endless optimism in the midst of so much negativity, I guess. Forgive me....

I guess what I'm saying / asking is, IS it possible for any party in this scenario to have had Relisha's best interest at heart? To simply have wanted to give her a loving, safe home (a life she's never known), and NOT be complicit in any crime? Could they have simply been want-to-be-parents longing for a child, and willing to take an 8 year old girl? I know I've read that infants are adopted quickly, and as the age of children increase, the likelihood of adoption decreases. Until I can support this with a link :moo: only, but that makes sense logically.

What do you all think? Is this beyond the realm of possibility and wishful thinking?

Wouldn't that be nice? I find myself thinking of happy scenarios for Relisha, also. Oh, how I wish it would turn out to be true.

I think anyone with truly good intentions for Relisha certainly would have come forward by now. Unfortunately, I think this is very very low on the possibility scale.

Another child went missing last year from DC General Shelter for a time and was found in Los Angeles. Two teens reported incidents at the shelter that alarmed a group that fights sex trafficking. per an advocate. The shelter is run by the Community Partnership for Prevention of Homelessness (known as TCP). They are responsible for running the background checks on employees. I think anyone with truly good intentions for Relisha certainly would have come forward by now. Unfortunately, I think this is very very low on the possibility scale.

But if they knowingly took part in an illegal adoption, they might fear the consequences of coming forward.

That would be a difficult decision to make.
