Look up to the sky for the purple fireworks, sweet girl. Those are for you. HAPPY New Year. Happy would be to make you a priority this year!

I can't believe after all this time she is still missing. Praying 2015 will be the year she will be found and those responsible will be punished.

Wow. :twocents:

That was exactly how I felt Wow. Relisha never had a chance for a stable life. Her Mom didn't have the skills to raise a family.

I hope they find Relisha soon. After reading the story about mom, I have great empathy for her. I wish her happiness and safety as well.

I wonder if, as Shamika implies, she is doing as the courts have ordered and is working hard to get her kids back, if she's off drugs and now she is a different person. The idea that she is looking back over her own past foster case files has got to be bringing strong emotions to the surface that she has buried with drugs and alcohol for a long time.

Thinking of you, Baby Girl. You are NOT forgotten! :heartbeat:

Bumping for Relisha! :bump:

We can hope, but I'm not going to take that bet.

Just saw a missing poster for Relisha on the justice network. Glad to know she hasn't been given up on and they are still working to spread the word.

I agree. Her mom had no skills, and is only now, after giving birth to four children, learning how to look after them because she had suffered a terrible childhood because her own mom had no child rearing skills. So Relisha, begging for attention from her teachers, trying so very hard to look after her little brothers, had no adult in her extended family who would actually look after her.

Sorry, but I think that the information given in this article make the meeting of adults in Relisha's family (mentioned in earlier threads) sound more ominous. (I'm going to have to go back and find the source later this weekend.)

Heartbreaking case. Praying she's found alive. Why hasn't the mother been charged with anything?

Wow it has been a year! And it's been a long year wondering about and praying for Relisha. No, you're not forgotten. I still think about you often and pray for your safe return, or at the very least, your opportunity to rest peacefully and appropriately.
