I've been watching this page. He is the crime reporter for the Washington Post and he did a story on the hearing this morning.

Missed your post, I don't think they can tweet from the court room. We're at the mercy of when it's over having the press running to exits with breaking stories.
IF they recovered 'in excess' of 30k, then how could JW have kept 20k of it? That makes no sense.
I think Wint's team has been reading here....LOL
30K of 40K accounted for per NBC4

#Savopoulos daughter is in courtroom listening intently as #DaronWint lawyer suggests courier kept stacks of money. @wusa9
So is DW's attorney saying that DW said the money dropoff was shorted?
Detective testified that $30,000 was recovered. Also DNA on the lime green construction vest recovered from burning Porsche matched Darron Wint's DNA. More to come
This tells me JW must have delivered the entire 40K. Placing suspicion on JW maybe the only thing the defense has to work with.
Before Wint was apprehended, he could have easily spend 10 k.
We know just for the taxi alone, he paid 1K.
Finding a 3rd persons DNA on the vest sounds a little sketchy unless they can identify whom's DNA they mean.
