The older girl posted on her facebook page (before she took it down - I took a screenshot because I thought it was important) that she attended an event in Adams Morgan on Tuesday night. Doubt she left for school that night, meaning she would be in DC on Wednesday. VERY POSSIBLE that she didn't actually attend the event, just posted that she did

These perp(s) don't seem like the brightest bulbs; as such I doubt they did much thinking beyond get in the house, rob/steal, kill whoever is there. Perhaps it was about revenge on the husband as the CEO, but they probably thought the family had piles of cash just sitting around cause afterall, that's what rich people do with their cash isn't it?

Sad that D.C. does not have the death penalty because if any crime screamed out for it, this one does (as did the Petit murders).

And for those of you who think Arias is the worst of the worst, I submit the killer of this family as rebuttal. Torturing and burning a 10 yr old and his parents and housekeeper? That's worse.

He was arrested at one time in 2011, age 25. He has been identified as a gang member. Maybe they already have his DNA, or maybe they got some last night.

Just FYI, although Takoma Park includes some not-so-good neighborhoods in the PG County area, most of it is in Montgomery County.

Takoma Park is known for its liberal bent. They sell t-shirts proclaiming it as the "Berkeley of the East." It's a cute little city with a quaint "main street" area, which also abuts NW DC. Mostly older hippie types. Very cool and peaceful place.

Though not too far from the Hyattsville location of AIW, or the domicile of DDW, it's a whole different world. Okay, except for the PG County part of it.

Yes but that is only for access. No one but the box renter/permitted signers knows what's actually in it.

Could this Go Kart place be where DW saw Philip having fun many times during his employment there? DW may have seen one of the parents or even the housekeeper bring him and little by little the hatred of what money can buy, got to be too much for DW.

I have read that DW was employed by a Go Kart place for about 3 months, IIRC.

Do we know for sure what time SS got home that evening?

I am wondering if the perps were already in the house when Amy called her husband and asked him to come home because she was going out. If not and the perps entered the residence at about 6pm, how did they get in? Could they have carjacked SS or approached him as he was entering his house?

I believe they followed AS home or in the house and she was told to get SS to come home, because with the dojo opening soon he was probably working late.

I spend a lot of time on social media for work and not for work. I looked at alot of the public stuff associated with DDW since he was named a suspect. Lots of "aspirational" photos/posts and lots of preening women friends, not many male friends.I wouldn't be surprised if there were photos or video taken by DDW and the other perps, yes, I believe DDW had accomplices, and the photos/ videos were sent to friends or women who had dissed him for being "short" and "cash poor", sitting in the S expensive cars, sitting in the big house in DC. JUst my thoughts. The electronic trail will be interesting. If DDW didn't know about DNA, he probably didn't know that deleting a text or photo...doesn't...really...delete them. Oops. JMO

Hate to say this, but I think the child was hurt, over the course of time, to keep the three adults "in line" during the tradegy. IE, cut him, and remind the big people they meant bussiness.............they have used the word "torture" for the child, while describing the adults as blunt force

I was wondering the same thing. Didn't NG say he got a call around 5:30 and left the martial arts studio. Why was Vera still there? If she was going to be late wouldn't she have called her husband to tell him. The document says this all started at 6pm but to me it seems it had to have started earlier.
