Judge complementing the attorney's for their professionalism and he's "never had as good a lawyering" as in this case. He's very impressed with both sides. All RISE...

Indeed. So far, I don't see anything at all about the trial posted on fox news. But I don't allow ads, so I might not be seeing everything.

The settlement needs to include an acknowledgement by Fox and public, repeated retractions by all their hosts that perpetuated the lies.

Fox Corp. just released a statement: “We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. We acknowledge the court’s rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false. This settlement reflects Fox’s continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards. We are hopeful that our decision to resolve this dispute with Dominion amicably, instead of the acrimony of a divisive trial, allows the country to move forward from these issues.”

No apology. No admission that their enthusiastic participation in the acrimony and division their coverage, based on lies that they knew were lies, fostered. And the line about the continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards, are they taking the piss? Is that sarcasm?

Nope and if you watch it tonight they'll all be doing the same thing they've always done. MOO

Forgive my ignorance -- what is Smartmatic?

Smartmatic is suing Fox for 2.7 billion. I wonder if Fox will settle with them too. Fox claims that they were just reporting what Trump told them, so perhaps they hope to recover by suing Trump. Heh!

Doubtful. Dominion and Fox are 2 sides of the same coin, JMO. Dominion doesn't care if Fox lies to the public. They only care if Fox lies about Dominion.

If Fox finds some other way to make false claims about "rigged elections" that doesn't involve the voting machine companies, they're ok with that. JMO

Another voting system that Fox alleged was rigging the election. They're also suing Fox.

Damn, we really rigged the hell out of that election!

If Dominion did not get a lengthy on air apology by Fox listing all of the things they lied about as part of a settlement as well as barring them from any additional coverage of election based fraud regarding their voting machines, this is a big loss for America as a whole.

Now that I know Fox lies, I'll never watch it again.

I don't think I've watched it in 20 years, maybe. Only then a couple of times. To be fair, I don't watch MSNBC, either.
