A federal appeals court has ruled the FBI’s seizure of Mike Lindell’s cell phone last year did not violate his constitutional rights, according to an opinion filed today.

The panel upheld a lower court’s ruling, noting the “warrant explicitly authorized the search of Lindell’s person for his cell phone as well as the seizure and search of the phone for records and information.”

No charges have been filed in relation to the investigation, which is ongoing, the opinion notes.

Lindell is the CEO of MyPillow, based in Chaska. Federal agents reportedly stopped him at a Hardee’s in Mankato on Sept. 13, 2022.

Court records note Lindell’s phone was seized due to “an ongoing federal investigation into the individuals responsible for publishing forensic images of election software used in the 2020 election in Mesa County, Colorado.”

Election denier and ‘MyPillow Guy’ Mike Lindell confirms he’s out of money, can’t pay legal bills

Attorneys who’ve been defending the election denier against defamation lawsuits by voting machine companies are seeking court permission to quit.

Lindell confirmed in an interview with The Associated Press on Friday that he’s out of money and said he understands his lawyers are people who need to make a living.

Attorney Andrew Parker wrote in documents filed in federal court on Thursday that his firm and a second firm representing MyPillow in lawsuits by Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems can’t afford what it would cost to represent Lindell and MyPillow through the rest of the litigation. Continuing to defend him would put the firms “in serious financial risk,” he wrote.

In a rambling video posted on his website Thursday night, he depicted himself as a victim of “cancel culture” and said he wasn’t done fighting.

“I’m never going to stop trying to secure elections for this country ever,” Lindell said.

Also, Lindell is a recovering drug addict. It seems like he replaced his drug with feeding himself delusions about the election. IDK, I'm no expert on any of this, but his behavior is clearly not rational, imo, and it does seem like he's addicted to the election results, even as it has killed his business, reputation, finances.
