Thought I'd point out that "pen cameras" are readily available and what doctor does not carry a pen in his shirt pocket? I think if I was a doctor, I'd immediately stop carrying one, just for the piece of mind of my patients. There are many out there, ranging in price from $40-$1000. I can't believ there hasn't been any mention of any other "friends" that bradley shared his videos with. I cannot see a man whose built his whole life around abusing small children for his enjoyment, would not want to show his "goods" to another person who enjoys that kind of torture as well. I mean there had to be "talk" of this dr. amongst the pedo type people. I picture zombies all gathering outside the office. As one person said it looked like a child trap.

I would find it extremely unusual if he wasn't file sharing. That seems part and parcel of the whole pedophile thing. I also wonder if he had 'friends' hanging around his house or office?

There's also the issue concerning the failure to name the original judge who kept refusing the requests for SWs and the numerous reports to the Medical Board which went unheeded. I truly believe that there must be others.

Bradley is an eccentric, weird guy who is said to be extremely social inept. However, his wife (who is a medical professional) lived with him until 1998 and according to news reports and comments, his children lived with him. His sister worked for him. In one way or another, he was "forced" to conform and be part of society. He was active at the local hospital.

The videos he created and collected would have been extremely valuable and sought after by other pedophiles. I find it almost impossible to believe that he didn't trade. I somehow doubt that he met with other men to abuse but I think he had contact via the internet.

Doesn't everyone still wonder about his assault? I still think that could have been related to the child porn--either an irate father or another collector. JMO

OMG, you mean "a white outbuilding" versus a "checkerboard building"?? Seriously, that is definitely grasping for straws. Although, that's really all they have anyway.

You know, Reen, even after reading that article several times, I'm still confused. There IS a white outbuilding so I'm not so certain what they're talking about. The fact that they found "camera pens" in the main offices, though, which can hold up to 60 hours of videos, gives me hope. I keep telling myself that even if they have to give up some of the videos seized, they have others. And they would also be able to hopefully identify those child victims one way or another.

I've been waiting for two months now to see how the judge would rule of the suppression of evidence. I guess I was sadly mistaken as I thought the judge was already considering the arguments. Guess not. They say that there is no timetable but personally I feel that the children, their families and the community needs closure. Does this monster really and truly want to go through with this?

The ONLY appropriate use of these toys would be for them to be purchased as a "lot" and donated to a children's charity, with no press release as to where they are headed. That's it. There's a big part of me which feels as if they should be taken to an unnamed landfill and buried. However, I know there are children's centers which would love to have the items for the children they serve. If a benefactor could purchase the toys and have them moved to an unnamed location, I guess I'd be OK with that.

It's my understanding that these toys were not used at the pediatric practice. What exactly were they used for then? Why were they collected? I just have this creepy vibe that something in there was used to lure a child or as a prop.

You know what? Even being a strong conservationist, I'm still voting for the landfill.

Good!! But I have to wonder what the state plans to do with the items. If they were evidence, they could have impounded them already. Maybe they will donate them to children's charities with no information concerning who they belonged to. An acceptable plan, IMO.

Dr. Earl Bradley's items won't be auctioned off


"....Items in a Rehoboth Beach storage unit once rented by Dr. Earl Bradley were set to be auctioned this month because Bradley had not paid rent on the unit in almost a year. However, Attorney General Beau Biden announced on Monday that his office reached an agremeent with Secure Self Storage to sell the items for $1.

"I want to thank Secure Self Storage for agreeing to turn the property over to the State at a financial loss," Biden said in a statement.

I believe that this headline is incorrect. This seems to state that Bradley's criminal trial has been pushed back. The civil lawsuits are another story all together.

"The trial of former Delaware pediatrician Earl Bradley on charges that he sexually assaulted patients has been pushed back to June 1 because two of his defense attorneys are involved in a capital murder trial.
