Details of Disappearance
Song was last seen at her residence on Bay Road in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on June 8, 1975. She has never been heard from again. She is considered missing under suspicious circumstances and foul play is suspected in her case. Song was born and raised in South Korea. She moved to the United States in November 1974 with her husband, an American serviceman named Alton Edward Joseph. There has been no evidence that Song returned to Korea after her disappearance. She hasn't used her Social Security number or been arrested since she went missing, and she didn't have access to a vehicle.

Alton and Song were having marital problems at the time of her disappearance. Alton has criminal convictions in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as a 2001 federal conviction for transporting explosives without a license; during his period of military service he had stolen over twenty pounds of C4 from the base.

Authorities have identified two suspects in Song's disappearance, but no one has been charged in her case. Her disappearance remains unsolved.

I previously suggested Song Im as a potential match for Grays Harbor County Jane Doe, though I think she could be a possible match for this doe too. The one catch I noticed is the doe was wearing a bracelet with the symbol of a flag with a rising sun, which typically represents the Japanese flag, and Song Im hailed from South Korea. I am not sure this detail is enough to rule her out entirely however; as her weight, age range, hair and eye color all perfectly match, and her height is also close to that estimated of the doe. Though the clothing descriptions of Song Im and the doe are technically different, there are some similarities as well; specifically both having been described as wearing blue pants and gold diamond jewelry.

Is her husband now considered a suspect following his arrest for unrelated crimes? I'd bet money on him having done it. Currently tracing his whereabouts and wondering whether he was responsible for missing women in NH when he was living there.
