DoverPD-- Gold Alert

The Dover Police Department is issuing a Gold Alert for 31-year-old Stefphone Powell. Powell was last seen on Saturday, February 17th and was reported as a missing person on Sunday, February 18th at approximately 11:00AM. Since then, new information was learned about medical related issue. Powell was last seen by family in the Dover area, but may have been seen in the Woodside, Delaware area on the 17th or 18th of February.

The Dover Police Department has positively identified the body found in SIlver Lake on Tuesday, March 13th, as Stefphone Powell. The cause of death at this time is unknown and pending toxicology results by the Office of the Medical Examiner. There are no obvious signs of foul play at the present time. Powell was reported missing on Sunday, February 18th, 2018 and a Gold Alert was issued by the Dover Police Departmen
