IMO, there's certainly a difference in expressing frustrations over a particular case, versus speculating if "LE even solves murders in Durham."PrayersForMaura said:I am surprised you take exception with my post and none other on this thread. :waitasec:
Clearly most all of us are frustrated.
Many a murder go unsolved and I'm feeling this one is headed in that general direction. I feel like this is being pushed under the rug. No exposure, no coverage, no news in months, and an awful long time without any arrests. What the heck is taking so long?
It's not like they need to wait for dna testing or a body to wash up from the ocean.
They have the body.
They have info.
They have enough motive.
What else do they need?
Like you, I do wonder about all the seemingly obvious things in this case, i.e., a body, a motive, etc. But I for one am not about to suggest that I know more than trained professionals. When you say "they have info," the reality is, we have no factual idea WHAT LE has or doesn't have for that matter.
I totally agree though PFM, the wait is excrutiating at times, especially when it seems so clear, etc. But again, to question the integrity of a police department, based on personal frustrations just seems unfair to me. But again, perhaps living in Durham County, I'm baised, and like to think that my law enforcement agencies are top notch and know exactly what they are doing.
