A couple of mentions, fwiw:

I thought the pix of smiley Casey on the left was taken for an I.D. badge when Yuri, et al, had her go to OCSD HQ for questioning before she was arrested. I recall remarks about the inappropriateness of her demeanor, not heeding the gravity of the situation, and acting like she was there on a guest visitor pass.

I had read the note in the article ref'd above about the executioner being paid, but it was always my understanding from other cases (states?) that there would be three such persons and not any one of them would know who pulled the lethal switch (chair), shot the weapon with a real bullet not blanks (firing squad), etc. Also, far more than one person is required to enact the execution routines by elecrocution and lethal injection.

OMGosh that gave me the chills - especially the death row cell. Can U imagine sitting in there for the rest of your life (or until you're killed). I'd be shouting from the rooftops - NEEDLE NOW! Forget appeals, who would want to appeal to sit in that cage, when gen pop can't be much better.

You are correct. I recall during FRYE that Yuri mentioned the picture was taken as a pass to be questioned, and that it was not a booking photo. My apologies - I don't have a link (just memory). There's a poster here who has all of her booking photos as a signature, and the smiley ICA is not one of them - FWIW.

As far as the lethal injection - there is a "team", but I'm not sure how many. Here is an article (rather chilling) on the process. I would imagine only a doctor could do the actual injection(s). However, if a doctor did perform the injection, they would be breaking their oath of "do no harm" so I really don't know who injects the inmate.

So on DR you have no contact with anybody?

I know if you get life, you will be able to interact with other Prisoners, Will Casey be able to do that?

After reading many DR inmate blogs (Now how does THAT happen). My assumption is someone is writing for them. But there are so many DR inmates who have web pages it's ridic.

Anyway, No, they do not have contact with other inmates. IMHO, the only time they are allowed out of their cell is for social or legal visits (Remember Peterson's family still visits him (creepy)). Then supposedly they get to go out to the rec yard (alone) a couple times a week, or an hour a day, something like that. The rec yard is a cage so they can walk back and forth like a caged animal. I've watched that on some news programs.

I'm almost sure our county jail in Brevard doesn't have heat. We don't need it often, but when we do, we do. I'll try to find out about the prison.

A Dr cannot do it by law. But FL botched the last lethal injection and it took the man 30+ mins to die so right now, I think it is on hold.
No, I could not do it.

I hate that I even feel this way, because where is my humanity? But... in light of how Caylee suffered, half an hour doesn't seem so bad.

I want this jury to give Casey the DP SO bad.

I don't care if they commute her to LWOP after, I just want to see her face when they annouce they are giving her the DP.

If Anybody needs to be on DR, It is Casey.

Casey Will be suffering on DR. LWOP she will not.

Same here...I want to see her face when DP is announced!!!! If she gets it changed to LWOP I can live with that. But it would be nice for her to think she's going to die for a while.
