Debate Thread for Caylee is alive

  • #181
But would you ever have thought that Shawn Hornbeck could have been hidden for four years?
I'm not comparing the cases, but that is pretty unbelievable too.

I didn't follow that case but for someone to be missing that long and suddenly appear is pretty incredible.

I can't say it's only one particular thing that leads me to believe Caylee is deceased but it's the conglomerate of things.

Casey's demeanor is up on the top of that list. I can't find an excuse.

I could probably argue the facts of the cadaver dogs since they can't talk and tell who's body they smelled.

But I can't ignore the Body Farm results given by LE and the hair DNA.

If Caylee was alive and Casey could help get her back, I really believe she would. Right now, she's sitting 6 hours a day at Jose's office, working on a defense to find a way to create doubt. Why are they not working on bringing Caylee back home?

I've thought about this too. It appears pretty obvious from the recordings alone that KC is not cooperating. But maybe she is now and because of the severity of the situation LE wants her to appear combative in order to protect others (good or bad) or buy time for someone, somewhere to slip up.

I'm compiling a list of pros & cons, verbatim LE statements and facts as well as alternative suggestions... I hope to have it up soon, just have to decide which thread it belongs with; debate, alive, theories, etc....

FootballMom, that is a great idea. Would you mind letting me know when you've completed the compilation and where I can find it? I would appreciate it :)

LE, please help me. My grand daughter is missing and there was another body in the trunk of the car. My daughter told me what happened. We have to find Caylee.. Please... please... help.

...

I don't see this type of plea or emotion. I see.. Operation Save Casey.

I've seen no evidence that the Anthony's have not done that. LE has said several times that the A's are cooperating.

So, maybe she didn't want to be seen in that car. Maybe someone would be looking for her driving that car. If it was simply out of gas she could have just put more gas in it and go. I'm sure TonE would have lent her 10 bucks for gas!

If someone was close enough to her to know what car she drove, they certainly would have known that she frequented Fusian, right? So why would she abandon a car for that reason but still keep clubbing?

See, I'm aware of all that evidence.
I know what it is logically thinking.
I choose to believe Caylee is alive because it's what I want to be true.
Nobody can take that from me until LE finds Caylee's body or Casey confesses.

Bless you! :blowkiss:

That is the most honest thing I have heard.

Just a thought...One thing we do know is that KC is a thief...what if she stole big time from someone who wasn't as nice as to file a police report. Especially if it was money or something that was illegally gained. Then you might have possible retaliation. could explain her staying away from home and not wanting to drive her car. Could explain handing her off to someone she felt was safe...
YES...GRABBING AT STRAWS HERE!!

You know, it has occurred to me that the outward appearance of what the A's are spouting that we see may not be the actual way it really is on the inside when they are with LE.

I have thought for a little while now that they were told by LE about the results to brace them for what is to come.

Eating crow is hard to do when it's so darn tough to chew.

Question....

Is the date of KC borrowing the shovel the 18th? If so, why would she need to borrow a shovel to stop the bamboo shoots from growing and hurting Caylee's feet (according to Cindy) - since KC says her daughter has been missing since the 16th. Has the 18th been firmly established?

good question...if they "knew her" yes, but maybe Fusion was safe...certain people could not or would not go there...maybe just to be seen with people there...I still have not released my radar on that place or that industry for that matter
but, if they did not "know her" only what she looked like or what she drove...then abandonment is a good possibility

Right on..

I think the shovel was borrowed the 17th, which coincidentally is a day between the flurry of phone calls. LE didn't release information on this day for a reason. IMO

respectfully.... that statement does not say she is dead.... only that it would be something that they'd take seriously.

It certainly does state that she is dead and in the trunk. With all due respect, I do not understand how you can deny that.

"The information we've gotten back from the lab that she was in the trunk of that car and that she is dead is certainly something we take seriously," said Orange County Sheriff's Office Sgt. John Allen.

I believe Cindy said this as well but until they found Caylee's body they choose to hope . Or something like that

Bodies are not always found and confessions do not always take place. That is why a trial, evidence, and forensics are used to root out the truth. I understand that you want her to be alive; I think we all do but its simply not possible with all of the evidence that is piling, of which we still know very little. LE will never release the homicide evidence and risk discovery for JB before it's time.

When they do charge and more evidence is released I think everyone will be even more shocked than we already are and we are only reviewing the evidence relating to the current charge which is child neglect, and lying to LE.

Thanks...very curious indeed!

I'm also thinking with these flurry of phone calls that KC was perhaps making sure no one was coming home while she was doing god-knows-what? Either she was calling them for help/or calling them to make sure they didn't pop in on her unexpectedly?

I believe you are 100% correct. I always thought she was trying to pinpoint their whereabouts so she could go about doing whatever she needed to do with Caylee's body without getting caught. In one set of calls she is CLEARLY at the house because she never calls it. Just their cells. That always stood out to me.

That's exactly what it looks like to me on the 16th for sure. Not one call during the crucial time to home, because she knew no one was home.

Dr. Baden on this case

http://www.foxnews.com/video/?player...Object=3017461

Eyewitness news spoke to a forensic expert to find out how investigators are able to use DNA to determine that a dead body was in Casey's trunk.

"Just putting the hair under the microscope one can tell the difference between a normal hair root and one that's been infected with bacteria after death." stated forensic expert Michael Baden.

Baden is a forensic pathologist who worked extensively on the OJ Simpson case. He also said the inside linings of the mouth and nose release fluid when they begin to decompose and that fluid can also be identified by DNA.

Do a search on Dr. Baden Caylee Anthony there is more but just thought I would post these for now

Okay.
Your response is not telling me a single thing I don't already know.
Like I said, I choose to believe she's alive because I want to.
I understand you want to make people realize what you know to be true, but you just can't sway someone who doesn't want to be swayed.
