How come we can't talk about the benefactor? How does she play in all this? Why is she so willing to finance this case and not other cases? What is the connection?

To everyone: what time does the Dr. Phil show air in your market? It airs at 3 p.m. CST in Kansas City but would love to hear/see about it beforehand.

He airs at 3 PM PT here so 2 hours behind you. Sorry I can't help.

Did anyone see the Fox report on this just a few minutes ago? Mark Fuhrman on with Megan Kelly. Says volunteers are launching a new search....MF is positive that DB will eventually be arrested. Nothing about the profitable "rehabilitate and garner sympathy" for DB upcoming Dr. Phil fantasy show.

Thanks, Amster..

I will stand behind Mark Fuhrman any day of the week. That is one very good detective. He knows how to profile too. Mf may have info the rest of us don't. I'm sure the evidence they took has no stranger DNA. I wonder if the cadaver dog hit on some of the evidence they took from the house?

The stars didn't line up one day for a stranger to walk in and steal a baby and three cell phones from an alcoholic-induced semi-lifeless mother and an absent father who worked a night shift for the first time.

:waitasec: Question : Does anyone know if this show was taped before a "live studio audience" ?

When the A's went on Phil, there was NO audience ... but they were all "doodied up" with new clothes, hair, makeup ... just the 3 of them with their attorney on the "sideline" coaching them as to what they could say or not say ...

Unbelievably disgusting when a baby is missing ... :furious:

MOO ...

Dollars to donuts, there will no audience.

IMO I think there are better ways to get the message out there then going on Dr. Phils show. I would hope they were not getting paid for their appearance but I know better. It's not going to garner any sympathy from those that already believe the parents responsible. But....

Doesn't this fly in the face of the argument that the parents are wanting this case to go away? That they want everyone to forget about BL? How does that make any sense when they are willing to go on a national syndicated show to talk about the case?

I can't bold as I'm on my mobile but I'm answering to the 2nd paragraph.

IMO this Dr Phil appearance will be more about them than Lisa....that they are the "victims" and trying to prove their innocent.

BBM: JMO ... but Bradley and Irwin going on Phil McG's show will NOT solve the case and bring Baby Lisa home ...

:waitasec: but it might "solve" some other "problems" for them ... KWIM ?

WHAT will SOLVE this case is finding the body ...

MOO ...

--according to the admin of "Seeking The Lost" , dr.phil's people reached out to sites of "missing persons" asking them to post on their F/B walls for their readers/members to submit ideas on who to feature .

--they were specifically looking for cases where there are 'other issues' surrounding the family in which dr.phil could offer some service, as well as getting the word out on the missing child.

--therefore, it's the opinion of Seeking The Lost that -"It was the GENERAL PUBLIC'S INTEREST VIA SOCIAL NETWORKING that generated it!"

peeps... let us drop the "money" aspect of the interview until and unless there is something reported on that they are receiving monies. Thanks so much.

bumping this up... also please everyone remember what TOS is and that name calling is a part of that... we don't do that here. Thanks so much... this randomly lands at random

I'm not going to comment any more on this until it happens, the attacks have already come out full force and the thread seems to be going downhill from there. No matter what is said during the interview, folks are going to say negative things about it. They can go on there and hold a picture of BL the whole time and talk about BL and it won't matter.

I wonder how these media hound parents found time to go on Dr. Phil with all these other tv interviews they've been doing since Oct. Do they even qualify as 'media hound' if I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen them on TV in 3 months?

Here is a link to that. He does mention Dr. Phil. Also, I'm not sure where MK is getting her information that there is a new volunteer search planned, because per the Search group facebook, they will not be doing any more searches.

and, that's all I'm going to say about that interview with Mark Fuhrman, to avoid a time out. :silenced:

I am so relieved that Mark Fuhrman will be taking this case. I find him to be extremely intelligent and honest. He, and the late Domenic Dunne: Fine Men!

Even though I think DB is guilty of whatever happened to Baby Lisa, I have to believe it was an accident. I just don't understand why, how she could ever think she could outsmart the police, FBI, et al. And, what did she tell Jeremy? The truth, a lie? How can she live with herself!

If she is arrested and found guilty, will she be responsible for all the LE, FBI expenses that went into searching for BL like Casey A has to do?

People magazine tells me Bill Stanton did not want Lisa Irwin's parents to do the interview, but Joe Tacopina did.

In all reality - what does this interview offer? It has a delayed airing - nothing new or newsworthy other than ratings for dr phil. IMO

And if the "new evidence" from JT is so earth shattering, why isn't he sharing it NOW?
In fact, didn't he tease the public with new evidence about a month ago? :waitasec:

Just read the article with Mark Fuhrman's statements and agree with him 100% especially his statement that if Lisa's parents wanted to talk to anyone about this case that they should go to the police department and talk to LE. LE is still interested in talking with Lisa's parents and they are still refusing to talk with them separately. It is standard procedure to question witnesses in a case separately, just the fact that DB and JI will not shouts out.

Will Lisa be mentioned on this episode or will it be strickly about JI and DB? With the lawyer being on the sidelines, we will hear nothing new....what is the point of this show?

Jim Spellman will be on with Vinnie P. around 5:30 ET

Now this is interesting ...

Bill Stanton is still around -- and --

Bill Stanton did not want DB/JI to do an interview ...

:waitasec: I wonder why ... maybe because Stanton wasn't invited ? or, is there another reason ?
