My personal opinion is that going on Dr. Phil never solves anything. Goodness gracious, he has people on now that were "helped" years ago and they are still messed up. I get the promos during Ellen. But it sure does line the pockets of advertisers, etc IMO, JMO :)

BBM: I agree ...

JMO ... but DP's Show and other similar shows are just "entertainment" ... and going on the DP Show is NOT going to find Baby Lisa ...

JMO ... but what I want to know is WHY DB and JI have absolutely NO problem talking to DP ... but they obviously have a problem talking to LE ?

Makes no sense ... none at all ...

MOO ...

Soft ball questions, getting "help" and being perceived in a new light by the public and the bloggers, community. IMO JMO

Just saw a quick blurp on Dr. Phil and Debbie was on. She looked very pretty.

I think who ever is paying the light bill, says "All the lights are on". I don't think that they were literally all on, but maybe some of the lights were on, and it felt like they were all on. My dad used to say that to us kids all the time, "Why are all the lights on??" and then we of course turned off the ones we were not using. But no matter what, a kid napper doesn't usually turn on lights. Give me a Break!

BBM: Exactly ... a "kidnapper" would NOT turn on the lights ...

Here is my :twocents: fwiw ...

DB and JI will be back in the "spotlight" -- national TV tomorrow -- so they have to make sure their "story" is "believable" ...

And that is the REASON for the change in the "story" about the "lights" being on ...

A "kidnapper" would NOT turn on the lights in a house where this "kidnapper" just took a baby -- AND -- this is the "story" that DB/JI and their defense team "claim" is what happened to Baby Lisa ...

You can bet the defense team have analyzed every single word that was uttered by DB and JI in all of their previous interviews -- and by continuing to "claim" that a "kidnapper" took Baby Lisa and the "kidnapper turned all the lights on", is just not any making sense ...

There is absolutely NO doubt the defense team prepped DB and JI for tomorrow's show ... and you know how a defense attorney can "manipulate" and "spin" any story they want to ... as well as a defense attorney can even get their own "clients" to "believe" they are innocent ...

That's what defense attorneys do ...

And MOO ...

Harrumph.
So they told Dr Phil that what they told the police was "not necessarily true" (is this the same as a lie?) but they have got nothing whatsoever to talk about with the police?

Didn't he list the lights that were on somewhere? I'm thinking it was in a People article but I could be wrong. There was a pumpkin light and an accent light and a couple of others?

"not necessarily true"? :banghead:

I may have jumped to conclusions. Let's wait and see tomorrow.

Didn't she say something similar in the early MK interview? In almost the same words?

---
That promo was mostly about defending DB and JI and little about finding Lisa. I hope the whole show isn't edited like that tomorrow.

Yes. I remember something similar, too. Found it in her interview with MK (Part 1).

MK: When you say several ~ more than three [glasses of wine]?

DB: Yeah, but that has nothing to do with [pause] her.

Is this what you were remembering, too?

Another similar comment was in a Dan Abrams interview.
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/missing-baby-lisas-parents-microscope-14752251

DA: “A lot of people have been asking whether you were drinking a lot that night, and whether that might explain something here.”
DB: “It doesn’t explain anything, cause I had nothing to do with anything.”
DA: “Were you drinking a lot that night?”
DB: “I was drinking, but it has nothing to do with my daughter’s disappearance. “

They have a problem talking to LE cuz LE would be more capable of getting the truth out of them.

Everyone must read and thank this post before posting in this thread: there will be absolutely NO SNARK, and NO BASHING of anyone in this thread.. that includes case players, the good Doctor, or other posters.

**if for some reason the thread is still locked at showtime please hit the alert button for a mod to come and open the doors**

I thanked but can't see my name. :blushing:

I would like Steve Young to confirm that KCPD told Tacopina that DB passed the polygraph. I worry a little about semantics with attorneys. I realize a polygraph isn't always definitive regardless pass/fail, but I want to be sure that the impression Stanton gave (that KCPD said she passed the test, presumably in its entirety) is accurate.

BBM: I agree -- I would like Steve Young to confirm the results of the poly ... as well as clarify a lot of other info on this case ...

DB and JI being on tomorrow's show will have all the talking heads "talking again" about this case ... And what we really learn ? Nothing but what DB/JI and their defense are saying ...

And it is time that LE VERIFY this info -- we are only hearing "one side of the story" ...

This case needs clarification by LE -- NOT Deborah and Jeremy via Phil McGraw's Show ...

:seeya: True ... and may I add that LE is not providing "room service", dining at "5 star restaurants," and sleeping arrangements in a plush hotel like P McG's Show is providing ...

:waitasec: Oh ... I forgot something : P McG has a great makeup, hair and wardrobe crew that work for him ... :waitasec: oh ... no "hair salon" at the police station ...

Me too, Sherbie. I hope that MK gets in touch with her contact, too, who told her not only that DB failed . . . but failed miserably. Remember that? I was disappointed that MK didn't remind Stanton of it during the interview.

There's more than mere inconsistencies in this case. There are fact being presented that are diametrically opposed.

Well I can see you. Try refreshing the original page that post is on. Or refresh this page. But you are not imblissable to me. (my son's pronunciation when he was little)

Hi D.g.C. I don't think they were with Dr. P. or his crew. Looks like they are in a different state with Joe T. Now I have no idea if Dr. P. paid for them to look fancy or eat/stay in nice hotels, but to me it seems they are with their lawyer in some studio. For all I know it could have been in their home town.

Not pickin' on ya. Just that is the way it looks to me. :)

:floorlaugh: Love the above! Tomorrow is going to be such a circus, I can hardly wait for Dr. Phil's "hard questions."

I know you are being tongue in cheek, but the hard questions will be few and far between. As it should be if the Lawyer is worth his salt.

I do see a silver lining in this interview, no matter how it goes. Lisa's face will be in the news again.

Nah, it's just that things are not necessarily true.

I can't wait. I will have coffee and pen and paper at hand. :)

This specific Dr Phil show won't be aired in my viewing area until 3PM Central. Anyone here getting it any earlier?
