Well that kinda sucks. Obviously Debbie's not understanding that its good idea for the boys to have some help now, but Dr Phil?

I agree Ranch, Dr Phil is famous for providing therapy or getting them in touch with therapists from their area. I was surprised when he didn't come forward with this. This makes me believe that Dr Phil is very doubtful with DB and JI's story. JMO

My thoughts on the Dr. Phil interview--

1. It was nice to see Steve Young's cute face at the beginning of the show....LOL. :)

2. DB looked pretty but she needs to find a new person to wax her eyebrows, they are way too thin.

3. JT stated that in the early morning hours of the night Lisa went missing, there was a dumpster fire and there were scortched baby clothes in the fire. I was under the impression that this is something that DB claimed LE told her. It sounded, to me, that JT was stating this as fact. Did I perhaps miss something?

4. DB said something very close to, "Our daughter is missing, the last thing we are going to do is talk about it." Meaning, she and JI wouldn't discuss details with each other. Ummmmm, what?!?!

5. We (the public) do not understand how the justice system works, according to DB. Again, what?!?! And in the sentence after this, she used improper grammar. This REALLY rubbed me the wrong way.

6. It seems as if DB has been spending a lot of time reading what people are saying on the internet about the case. She doesn't like our "theory-fests."

I have remained very neutral about this case-- I just don't know what happened. I have kept a very open mind about DB and JI and I honestly cringe when I see all of the hating on them that goes on around here (but I do understand why some think one or both of them is guilty). But after seeing that interview, I am totally turned off by DB. She didn't come off as a grieving mother to me at all. She came off as a know-it-all, who threw a mini-temper tantrum because of things that people say about her on the internet. I just thought that whole spiel about the "theory-fest" taking place on the internet was over the top. Maybe it's just me, though.

It's not just you. DB showed no grief. She shed a few tears at rehearsed moments imo. Dr. Phil's show for me made it all the more clear that at least DB and possibly J know exactly what happened to Lisa.
I also agree with you about Steve Y's cuteness. :blushing:

imho

Random question, but if DB's 3 phones were not working, why didn't JI call SB and tell her to tell DB that he'd be home late?

For those of you adamant that DB disposed of Lisa, when did she do so? SB & SB were outside her house until 11:30, JI was due home at 10:30 (IIRC, if not someone please correct me).

DB went inside at 10:30. SB stayed outside talking to new neighbor Shane until 11:30. I'm not sold that JI was due home at 10:00. Wonder why DB didn't use SB's phone to call JI and ask why he was running late. Who knows? If DB disposed of Lisa, I would say it was between 10:30PM and 4:00AM. Plenty of time if she did. All MOO.

OH great now we're hearing from BS and he is saying he was told to go find that baby. Now hear is the problem. He is not an investigator in MO and has not interviewed anyone according to him.

Can somebody please poke Jeremy to see if he is alive?

Reposting this link that davehead21 posted yesterday.

Four clips of an interview with Dr Phil on his thoughts after the show.

Interesting, thanks.
He says he understands why people are suspicious of the couple. He says he is bothered by the inconsistencies and the being drunk. He thinks there is genuine remorse. They should be talking to the KCPD. His feelings about the couple changed during the interview.

Okay we are now back to Joe explaining the cadaver hit. It was PooPoo that must have fallen on the floor when DB changed Lisa's diaper (on the floor, I suppose)

....Cadaver dogs must hit an awful lot in bathrooms and nurseries.

I swear, I was looking for the valium IV. He has the most dead-pan affect of anyone I've ever seen.

What are posters on the fence about? There are a few scenarios.

I think there is a possibility that Lisa was taken that night. I believe DB was drunk and passed out and didn't hear a thing.

The timeline (as far as I know) would not allow DB to dispose of Lisa without a trace. The neighbour was outside until 11:30. That would mean DB would've had approx. 3 1/2 hours to dispose of Lisa without leaving any evidence. I just don't buy that.

If she was responsible, they would have found something. Yes, there was dog hit but I know that dogs also have false positives and that one hit just isn't enough. There were no other hits anywhere and we've seen the dogs all over the house, the yard, the vehicles.

There may be evidence we're not aware of but for now, I'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt that someone else (perhaps even someone very close to the family) snatched Lisa for whatever reason.

Even if he thinks that DB/JI are guilty of something what about therapy for the boys? That means they don't deserve help?

DB has her hand on his thigh to pinch him if he dozes off or goes off script. I think she learned from earlier criticism of her over talking him whenever he got mixed up. All MOO.

I guess my point was if he was due home at 10-10:30, then she was being pretty risky by disposing of Lisa any time after that. SB & SB were outside her house in the driveway until 11:30, so unless she took her out back while they were talking.

Then again, if an intruder took Lisa, then they came between 11:30-12 since the neighbor saw the abductor with Lisa at 11:57p. Since JI was due home at 10ish, the abductor had to be pretty ballsy to be walking in the house knowing that JI could be home at any minute.

Honestly, I don't like either theory at all. Neither one make sense and neither one add up. I need a new theory.

She still can't remember if she checked in on Lisa at 10:30 or not. I think she may have in order to see if Lisa needed a new dose of meds, IF she had given Lisa meds 4 hours earlier. She says she put Lisa to bed at 6:40 pm so that is approx 4 hours earlier. Some meds are given every four hours for things such as ear infections and pain relief. JMO MOO

This benefactor is actually paying Bill S for this? She must be REALLY close to the family member (and we know who that most likely is) to pay this amount of money to protect DB.

He said he felt a lot worse about the couple going into the intervew than he did at the end.

They deserve help regardless if the parents are guilty or innocent. It is very odd that Dr Phil didn't offer the help.

That's probably a matter of degree. He has a bad feeling about them but he felt worse before.
