Well, I guess one could argue semantics about whether "all" and "every single light" are the same thing but here she did say so, without qualifying it in any manner that she doesn't actually remember doing so and that in fact she usually leaves them on.

Then I agree with you, it's inconsistant. Is it enough to label her a bold face liar, trying to cover something up? I can't say that.

I think the LIGHTS in the neighbours info means OVERHEAD lights, not night lights and stove lights.
You are correct.

DB said track-lighting was on in the living room/computer room, IDK. That is significant lighting, imo. I can't figure out how Db means the lights on were the usual ones. Track Lighting is very bright...I guess I should say this is my opinion.

I would think most guilty would stay quiet, hide behind a lawyer and not go on a national talk show to bring attention to themselves. Why worry about a jury when you haven't even been arrested yet?

THAT is what DB did for 3 months.....stayed quiet, hid behind her layer and stayed off tv until Dr. P.

He himself might not be dead! I've seen articles saying only the children's bodies have been found.

Quite true. It is possible for innocent people to lie during the investigation to their missing baby but another thing if it it makes sense to do so if they want to be eliminated from the suspect list and help the police find their baby and if it makes sense to whine later when they're not believed.

I think Casey Anthony killed her child too but for me all the lies about how Caylee went missing were definitely part of the reasoning that got me to that conclusion.

I guess it's statistics and statistics could lead to the wrong conclusion on occasion but I think most of the time people who lie have something to cover up. (It's possible it's something that is unrelated to the missing child though.)

I can totally agree with this post. Still on the fence here, I guess I don't see there being any major inconsistancies that really put my hackles on end. Now if DB said she never left the home that night but video showed the family car somewhere after midnight, yea, major gotcha moment.
The lights, not so much. The screen, I'd like to see a LE report on that. Was it damaged from the inside or the outside?

Why go on Dr. P. then? It was working out so well for her. Nobody was talking about the case. Leads had dried up. Searches had slowed down, etc, etc.

I didn't realize that was a requirement, to pick a side.

The difference here is if it turns out she did something to BL, I will admit to being wrong about DB and giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Will you do the same if the alternate is true?

The problem with that is that to people who like fence sitting, nothing is ever proven to them. Even with the CA case, even though she was found not guilty of killing Caylee, most of us believe that she did. However, there were obviously at least 12 people who believed she didn't.

Please don't take this as being snarky, but you can't really consider yourself a true fence sitter if you feel she is not guilty and are just waiting to see if she is proven to be guilty. The difference between you and I is that I believe DB is guilty. I admit to thinking that she is guilty. But, if they are able to find a person who confesses to having taken Lisa, or if Lisa comes home in some way, I will happily and gratefully admit I was wrong.

They've been reading the boards and many people would love to gather their pitchforks and torches and march on them and they know it.

This was done to rehabilitate them and gather a few supporters who don't know the details of the case. This show was about the parents. NO recent photos of Lisa. We see the same one over and over. Haven't you wondered why they show no recent PICS of her?

....I also think DB loves this talking and thinks she can be convincing. IMO, she is a drama queen and seeks out attention. She can't stand it when people speak badly of her and wants to straighten them out.

I don't know if she is or is not. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't anything that made me think she did something. But is it enough to put me fully in the 'she did it' camp? No it's not. That's the very definition of a fence sitter. One that cannot tell if she's innocent or guilty. Here is an example of what would put me in the 'guilty' side.

If it turns out there was multiple cadaver dog hits in the house
If there was blood in the house
If LE makes a statement that there is no evidence of an abduction (see Ayla Reynolds)

Those are just a few examples. There are plenty more. I can only go with my gut and my gut says, I just don't know yet. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I don't think this is a fair statement. I don't "like" to fence sit. You make it sound like it's something I enjoy. I would rather have a resolution to this case. Preferably with Lisa being found alive.

But...there is this little agency we call KCPD. You can be sure that no matter what the public is saying, THEY are still on the case. And DB knows it.

I think if a ton of people were speaking badly of you, you wouldn't roll with the punches either. It's called human nature.

They didn't need supporters. The case was dead in the eyes of the public. Out of the newscycle. Nobody was bothering them as far as we know.

Apologies, I meant in the public eye, not as far as LE was concerned.

Adding to that - I could easily call myself a fence sitter. It would be easier for me IF I cared what anyone else thinks. I obviously don't and I'm willing to say that I am NOT on the fence. A fence sitter doesn't believe strongly one way or the other. They sit and take it all in and weigh the info equally, not argue for one position or the other. At least that's my idea of what a fence sitter is. And nothing at all negative toward you for sure. I like you and enjoy reading your posts. Just a difference in semantics here, I think.

I don't "like" to sit on the fence either. Who wants to be up in the air about something? But I have to be there, because I don't KNOW that DB did anything to Lisa. However, I do know that my conscience will not let me say someone is a murderer if I don't have evidence of that.

I agree with you (somewhat.) You seem to meet the definition of a fence sitter more than anyone else here who argues for DB's innocence. To me anyway.
