The Bald Eagle's hearing is not exceptional--

Hearing
Eagles are not distinguished for their hearing, but this does not mean that they have poor hearing. Diurnal (active by day) birds of prey like hawks and eagles use their hearing to locate prey or other birds, but the sharpness is not as essential as in some owls, which can locate prey in the dark only by their sound.

Trident! #460 ~ Quote\...I made myself a drink and lit a cigarette. It's almost like watching a horror movie. I hope everything works out ok .../UnQuote

I don't watch nor read "horror", there's enough in LIFE! ~ but the cocktail and cigarette sure makes good sense!

I'm glad I found YOU ALL ~ you've kept me well-informed, while I take time to sleep!

Very cool! she is so gentle when shes feeding them. I used to watch Africam, you get to see elephants and others! . It has gotten a bit commercialized but probably needed sponsors.

I'm finally showing this to the kids... and it's really amazing.. it's our eagle nest!
It's a different female though as this female only has 1 eye, but same male according to the website for the birds.

Just realized that our girl is the second mate.. the one with 1 eye doesn't make it.. and the kids are bawling nad me too :(

There is something else in the next, right above the fomer "rabbit"???? As there are now 2 eagles in the nest, above the "rabbit" was something dark grey, with "eyes", and a few tall feathers positioned horizontally? Did the Daddy bring something more to eat?
