I love birds, too! I have been enjoying this cam so much. We just lost our old Quaker parrot 3 days ago. This helps a little.
I'm so sorry granny. Here we have huge flocks of quakers that are wild. You can always hear them coming with their squawking. I have an African Grey named Fred. He's the best!

The mother eagle just stood up and the camera zoomed in on the two baby eaglets...too cute. :great:

She just readjusted and you could see the one egg still left to hatch. A few minutes ago when the cameras zoomed in on the eagelets the one baby was very alert and had his beak in the air so strong and proud. The other baby that was just recently hatched was still lying down and just moving around adjusting to its new world. It is so exciting to see! We love the Eagle Cam! :woohoo:

They just got fed again, #1 ate a big chunk and looked like he/she wss having troubles swallowing it. #2 didn't eat and momma didn't try to feed him/her either.

Did anyone notice what the parent eagle was doing with that big stick right where he/she is sitting on the nest? That big stick was worrying me, LOL, but I saw the parent using it, LIKE A TOOL, to push the loose nesting material higher around the place where the babies are. I conclude eagles know how to use tools!

He was using the stick to push the nest walls up so that they are higher which makes the nest more secure for the babies and probably helps to keep predators out. Amazing! These two are really good parents :)

Mom and dad are both in the nest. We might get to see the babies!!

ETA: Never mind... dad(?) just took off. LOL

I saw a little baby head poking out. Mama got up and both babies were visible!
They're so adorable!
