Defense doesn't want GA & CA in the courtroom....why?

  • #201

Color me a cynic but I suspect GA is well versed on what is headed his way and on board completely. This is a father, who for whatever reason, owes someone something....Cindy? Lee? ICA? Not father of the year by any stretch. Maybe this is his way of showing CA he's worthy......so he's going to humiliate himself for the cause. What a waste, a HUGE waste of time and energy. People are not stupid nor are they CA. They will want answers to some very obvious questions and GA is no where near in a position to answer them.

It really is all for naught. This girl has a guilty sign plastered on her forehead and so no matter what the Ant's try to do to muddy the waters, it's going to be an epic fail. Common sense will rule this trial...........plain ol' common sense.
Finding non-sense to say Dr. Vass is a bad guy =pointless, finding GA to be a child molester= nonsense and so on.
None of this stuff will change the FACTS. The fact is her child was found with duct tape- so accident is a ridiculously hard, hard sell to even the most naive, and saying her daddy was into little girls a gazillon years ago and she's just now remembering it does not cancel out HER crime today. There is zero to support her claims other than HER words which ALWAYS amount to lies.

Saying GA killed Caylee and dumped her in a swamp does not support the evidence found. He is a ruse....and a bad one.

Common sense is the name of this game..IMO

Here is a potential DT scenario;

-During the big family fight on June 15th, CA threatens to take custody of the child.

- On the morning of the 16th, Casey tells George that if they try to take custody, she will tell Cindy about the abuse she has endured since childhood.

- George snaps, grabs the child from Casey, and tells her she better leave now and NEVER say a word about anything or he will harm Caylee.

- George tells Casey that his girlfriend, who Casey knows about, will take care of caylee for awhile, and Casey will get her back if she keeps her mouth shut and pretends like nothing happened.

- Casey was so scared of evil George that she pretended like nothing was wrong.

-When the car trunk began to smell she realized that her Dad was trying to frame her. So she stayed away and tried to think of what to do. She could not go to LE because her dad was ex-LE and she was afraid they would be in on it.

- She decided to tell her attorneys what happened and wait it out in jail until she could tell a jury her sad story.

p.s ALL of the forensic evidence against Casey can also be tied back to George.

I can only HOPE and PRAY they use that defense. Seriously, I would LOVE it if they did. And they just might, considering that the only other option is the truth, which would get Casey the Death Penalty. IMOO

You're welcome to tag and give JB a shout out to take a look at the excellent material here. But, according to his co-counsel, it is just meaningless, opining from some "idiot bloggers". ;)

Bumped an old thread for reference. It is locked, but I keep searching for an open thread where you guys can discuss the alleged fight between CA and KC on 6/15. :)

Details Emerge: Casey/Cindy Fight - Part 2

I know there is no 'proof' there was a fight between Cindy and Casey. But from what we KNOW about that day, it is only common sense there would have been one.

Cindy is visiting her Father in the hospice, as he is very frail. It is Father's Day and she is enjoying a family visit. And what is she met with? The upsetting news that her pathetic daughter has STOLEN from her grandparents for the second time. And Grandma was about to call the police this time. Cindy had to beg her Mother not to turn Casey in, and she promised to repay her mother immediately.

OF COURSE THERE WAS A FIGHT THAT NIGHT. I might have choked my daughter out too if she had stolen from my parents like that.

I am pretty confident a very big fight happened that night.

Me too, katydid. :)

But we need to steer back on topic and return to talking about why the "Defense doesn't want GA & CA in the courtroom" ;)

In all fairness, from what we have all been privvy to over the last three years of CA and ICA, of course there was a fight, and nothing but a camera in every room of the Anthony household on that eve could convince me otherwise!

I am not on the jury so I can form an opinion from all I have seen, heard, and read in this case. Those two were probably like a pair of longhorn sheep going at it, head to head that night, or worse.

There is NO doubt in my mind whatsoever that this 'alleged' fight ocurred and I can't wait to finally hear the truth of it, at trial.

Bring it on!

ETA: Back on topic Beach... I think it will be one of the many things introduced (or verified) by the defense team (among many other sordid and horendous details about the private goings on in the A household) and EXACTLY the reason the DT doesn't want the Anthony's present in the courtroom. Like I said... bring it on!

How do you speak about what you want to speak about? I cannot start a thread on my own topic. I'm not allowed. And if you look for a thread that is on your topic its too old in order to post on with questions.

Okay, gotcha.

The defense does not want George in the courtroom because they plan on piling the blame upon him. Easier for them to do so without him sitting in the front row watching it. Of course he will start gasping and holding his chest when it begins to happen, imo, so he will be sent out anyway.

I am sort of new too. I believe if it keeps up after several warnings the mod can close the thread for a while. The mods have a good handle on situations like this and get it back on topic quickly.

I am going to move a few posts. :)

The thread doesn't "stop", but when we go off topic (see thread title) it makes it very hard to find good information again when we need it via the search engine. So, mods will nudge posters to get back on track and, when necessary, we will move posts to the topical thread. :)

I moved your post referencing Morgan & Morgan and the ZFG civil lawsuit to the topical thread.

You can find it right here - All Things ZFG lawsuit

I think what they are really afraid of, is not that the Anthony's will be 'impeached' by prior testimony (as was stated time and again at the hearing), as the Anthohy's have given lengthy statements (to LE and the media), depostitions, and sworn written statements, in the case previously.

I believe what the defense doesn't want is for the Anthony's to start telling the ENTIRE truth about their daughter and the events leading up to June 16, 2008 and after. The truth so far, that in defense of their daughter they have glossed over, prettied up, or changed entirely (Casey and Cindy are BFF... Casey was a wonderful mother, we trusted her completely with Caylee... we had no reason not to believe our daughter (wth?)...that sort of thing). If the A's know the defense team is gunning for them, from the beginning (ie the opening statement by the defense), we may just see a brand of honesty never seen before in the history of the Anthony family... and if that happens, ICA is going down harder and faster then she would with the States case alone. God help ICA if GA and CA finally turn on her and tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help them God! MOO

I was against Cindy and George being allowed to be in the courtroom. I do understand why it is being allowed, but I feel bad for the other witnesses who have to get up on that stand and look into the gallery at the very people who accused them of unbelievable crimes. I know Cindy and George will not be able to control their facial expressions... I just can not see it happening.

Is it Monday yet??

In the deposition of Cindy Anthony in Zenaida's civil suit, she denies there being any fight, so I guess this is something that will be hard to prove. You are right....only a camera could really prove it.

Sure! You are more than welcome to start a new thread, if a similar topical thread doesn't already exist. This forum is almost 3 years old now so there are many, many threads now. I would suggest that you to familarize yourself with the search features here. It will make finding things sooooo much easier!

On the forum homepage you will see a blue bar - Threads in the forum: Caylee Anthony 2 years old. At the far right on that blue bar, is the search option. Click on that and enter a subject you would like to search. It is often best to click on the advanced search option. That will take you to a new page. At the top, far left you can search by title. Enter any keyword. (In the case of your earlier post that I moved, that is what I did. I entered ZFG (for Zenaida Fernadez Gonzalez) and ...voila! The right thread popped up.

Hope that helps. Feel free to look throughout the entire WS community by clicking on the "Websleuths Community" link at the very top of your page, right under your browser window. Lots of good info in there for getting familiar here.

BBM

I surely hope so. And I tend to believe it.

I know I am in the minority thinking this, but I cannot believe that George will sit by and allow them to imply he was a child molester or that he would ever hurt little Caylee. NEVER. I just do not see him sitting still for lies like that. Sure, he wants to keep Casey out of Death Row, but not if he has to say he molested her or the baby. Or even worse, that he harmed or killed the child. He will not be able to sit in the audience and listen to accusations like that. IMOO
