Defense hires new media rep - "Todd Black" out

  • #41
LOL,

I would love to have this PR agent on my radio program, the first question would be: Is Zenaida Gonzalez the killer?

I just wonder how she can "spin" this case, it is impossible when you have a guilty sack-o-crap client like CASEY ANTHONY.
First, you hire additional cast to play the shell game. When something is about to come out about the perp or the defense team, you have them do something ridiculous to deflect the attention of the media and public. Oh wait...this is what T. Black did...until he became the focus. (To add to Marti's agenda, Baez' trouble with Black isn't over, imo.)

My first questions would be: Who is paying you? Did you have to sign a nondisclosure agreement with this person/entity?

BINGO! (Bold by me)

Lordy, guys! I've been googling her trying to find her dob and she has been making comments about this case since December!

BTW: She attended the University of South Carolina-Columbia from
1969 — 1979 (just found this interesting b/c I live in South Carolina!)

She also wrote a children's book! http://www.lawyerpr.com/abcnyc/index.html

She isn't very boring. She goes on TV and fights with people who think her clients are guilty. She was on Nancy Grace during Nowach and she was full of herself, as my grandmother would say: she was "too big for her britches."

Here is a transcript of her on NG: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0708/24/ng.01.html

If she is glibly predictable, I will find that boring. If she is predictably aggressive, I don't tune out, I turn off. For me, the Baez/PR soap had twists and turns and it's been so appalling it's been like watching a train wreck. So it kept me glued to it. Thanks for the link! Will check her out.

Do you all think this could have something to do with the hiring of Marti?
I think she was hired because they are looking into T. Black and his associations at the moment. We don't know what will be coming out about him or how it will eventually impact Baez. We do know there is still the question of who is paying for the defense team. I was serious when I mentioned the defense team are the ones needing a PR person instead of Casey.

She can try to spin Casey all she wants, but it won't do any good if it is true Casey's fingerprints were found on the duct tape placed over Caylee's mouth. MM's job will be to go on the attack of everyone else surrounding Casey including the family, imo.

I know Marti. She yelled at me when she found at I was writing a book about Lisa Nowak. Then she called my publisher, St. Martin's Press and gave them grief, too.

man, tell her to don an astrodiaper and take a chill pill.

That's what I'd like to know.

Some of us use PR for good instead of evil :)
Yeah. Just like every other profession--the good, the bad and the ugly are everywhere.

As near as I can tell, the ugly are centrally located in Florida.

Yeah, I think you're right about that...it makes alot of sense. Also, I wonder if the State of Florida is going to end up paying a portion of the defense bills. I think some of the defense is in this to make money off of the case after the fact. This is the first murder case involving mom/daughter under The Sunshine Law, and involving it's high profile magnitude. All of these lawyers, pr persons, experts - they'll all become part of case study all over our country when this is all said and done. Nothing like having your name in black & white print issued to every law school in the country. Makes me sick. While I'm happy that we have democracy, I'm dissatisfied with the innocent until proven guilty guidelines when sooo much evidence points towards guilt. I am of the belief that when too many experts are legally entitled to rip everything apart and turn things around to promote doubt, that that's an injustice and needs an overhauling in our country. Of course, moo. Don't get me wrong, I'd wish to have the best defense if a situation ever warranted one, but when should they draw the line? How is it ethical that they represent the way they do with all of the given guilty evidence...the same evidence they're legally allowed to rip apart. It's sickening. I think MM is going to rip everyone apart, just like you do. I've thought that since KC's day of writing her Diary Of Days poem, that somebody guided her along in that knowledge. I'm not saying I think she had an accomplice...just that somebody that knew the ins and outs of law gave her guidelines & boundaries to follow. I think MM is going to go after anything & everything. I don't respect her, never have...she leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I feel I should go wash my mouth out with antibacterial soap now!

Thank you for the link, Levi. (Are we related? My grandmother would have said the same thing!)

I wonder if Gil Cabot goes down quietly. I seriously doubt it. I think he has leverage somewhere somehow and this could get mighty interesting. I wonder if "they" (Press Corps Media) will team up with Garrison??

Any comment from "Todd Black"? The Sentinel got no information.

ITA, we haven't heard the last from GC. I want to know more!

Just a thought on seeing the posts above about whether this is the last we'll hear from Gil Cabot - this is not the first time Baez 'fired' 'Todd Black' and company. We may very well see him continue in the picture.

Sweet justice would be a convicted felon bringing down Baez and exposing his money deals, if any.

You just described a defense lia...uhm....lawyer. ;)

SNIPPED: " . . .I was serious when I mentioned the defense team are the ones needing a PR person instead of Casey. Defendants who don't speak after retaining an attorney never need PR people. It's always the people doing the public speaking on the defendants' behalf who need the PR people. ;)

Excellent questions.

Could the Nancy Grace staffer assigned to read this board please ask your boss to ask a few pointed questions? Thanks.

I'm going to sound like a drama-lover, but I just can't wait to see this PR person go on Nancy Grace. Last time during Nowack her and Nancy got into it, and that was over an attempted murder/assault. Now it is about a murdered child...

I don't see how the PR agent can avoid being on NG, because Nancy's show covers this more than any other show, and it is the THE show people go to for info on this case...

Exactly, Levi. She will almost have to go on Nancy, no way out of that.

I went to your page, never noticed your link before. I bookmarked it to read and read and read later on tonight. Looking forward to it.
