Delano was last seen around 12:00 noon on August 27, 2014. An AMBER Alert was issued for him after his father claimed two people violently attacked him and abducted Delano. He claimed that was walking down the street when a white male and Hispanic female approached him, robbed him and pistol-whipped him, and he fell to the ground. When he regained consciousness, he saw his six-week-old baby in a cover being taken away. His abductors may be traveling in a 2000-2003 blue 4-door Ford Taurus.
Questions have been raised about the validity of this report. However, no known suspects or persons of interest have been named. Extensive searches have turned up no sign of Delano, and he remains missing.
