So has he admitted to having sex with her but not raping her?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No he refuse that it has anything to do with rape, or sex.
She just died and he dismembered her and threw her out....

The 14 knife-stabs in her genitals is not made by him.....??

Has the manner of death been identified? Were the stab wounds inflicted post mortem? Are the dogs and divers still searching?
Any update is appreciated.

No, they cant tell how she died yet.
They still had dogs out looking a few weeks ago, but I think its the last call and maybe they have ended the search by now. They wanted so much to find her arms and hands too. We havent heard if they did find anything though.

The stabs was inflicted either right before she died or just right after she died according to the police.

I hope they find or have already found her arms. They could show restraint marks or defensive wounds/broken nails etc. One of the articles I looked at today stated they were checking PM's DNA with other cases. :frown:
Has a link already been posted about this? If not, I'll find it.

Well, the defence will have to explain that one. The cutting up was bad enough. Burial at sea my arse.

Thanks guys, I thought "partnering with"meant having sex with. Can't understand why dismembering translates to that!

They already said they would check his DNA in the early days, because the case is very similar to an old case where a japanese tourist was killed and dismembered in denmark, but it was at a time where PM was 15-16 years old, and apparently they havent found anything about that.
They have sent the DNA to Sweden too because they also had some similar cases, but no match. Norway has also checked because of similar cases, but no match.

It is really scary that there are so much cases of this around. Apparently too many sick people!

Peter Madsen formed his own company at the age of 15. He did that to be able to buy materials for his rocket building project in bigger amounts than he could get them at any local hardware store.
That shows a certain maturity and resolve. So when we are sceptical about him having been too young to be involved in the death and dismembermant of that poor Japanese student, we should think about that.
I also believe he got a worksop on Refshaleøen already back then - but I am not sure.
I think I read that somewhere, but I can´t remember where, :/
Where did he get the money back then, btw??

Anyway, I trust the police have looked at this from all possible angles, and they cannot link him to that crime from the 1980s.
Either he had nothing to do with it or there is no evidence to link him to the murder.

Nah, PM had his workshop in Albertslund back in the 80s. No proximity to Copenhagen Harbour where the Japanese girl was found.

Yay, hopefully this is a breakthrough in the mystery of how KW dies.

The Copenhagen Police have found an arm in Køge Bay
The police assume that the arm may originate from the submarine case.

The Copenhagen Police have today found an arm under a dive in Køge Bay, in cooperation with the Armed Forces divers.
The arm is found near the route that has been investigated in connection with the submarine case, Copenhagen Police writes in a press release.

- We have not yet determined whether it is a right or left arm or who the arm belongs to. But we assume that it originated from the submarine case, says Deputy Police Inspector Jens Møller Jensen from Copenhagen Police.

The arm is being examined Wednesday at the Institute of Medicine.
The police have no further comments, but confirms to TV 2 that the search in Øresund continues.

Remember that if you read a Google-translated page and meet the word "Partnered with" it really means "dismembering". Google must have banned that word somehow.

I ran part of the text from the article through google translate and got this:

Peter Madsen is charged with killing Kim Wall in an unknown way at an unknown place in the submarine Nautilus after he sailed out with her in Øresund on the evening of August 10th.He has denied the killing, but after changing the explanation a couple of times, he now admits that it was him who, after her death, kissed Kim Wall and threw her overboard.

KISSED! for crying out loud.....!

Great news!
One arm is better than no arm - especially for Kim Wall´s family.

Also hope that the find will reveal more about how the murder went down.

Again, much respect to the divers and everyone else involved, they never gave up, just kept working without any hullabaloo. I think they will find all of Kim Wall.

I just came by to post that article about them finding an arm...

Is the Dec. 12th hearing still on? If anyone knows!

TIA! And thank you all for all the updates on this case.

New info about the arm.

The arm found yesterday in Køge Bay is a left arm, cites Copenhagen Police.

The arm was free in the water, but was held down with strips and pieces of pipe, similar to what was found on the legs of Kim Wall, according to the police in a press release.

The Copenhagen Police do not want to publish more details about the arm at this time and have not written in their press release anything about what the forensic clinicians may have concluded.

However, it should be considered unlikely that the arm should originate from another person when it has been applied to some of the same things that were used to throw down other parts of Kim Wall's body parts.

The arm was found approx. One kilometer from the place where the head and leg of the Kim Wall were found, the police also reported.

I dont think we will hear anything about the dec. 12 hearing until on the same day, or if PM again prolongs his custody voluntarily the day before.

The Cph police has not revealed anything about the state of Kim Wall´s clothing as far as I know.
Do any of you know anything about that?

Would be interesting to know whether there were any holes in them from stabs.

A bizarre little thing I fell over - I was not searching for anything related to this case, but there it was.

Scroll down a little bit, not too far, and you will see a small note about Peter Madsen and the sunk submarine.
I am not sure what this site is about - Danish promotion in China perhaps.

"THE CAPTAIN PETER MADSEN IS OK (But of course very sorry)."

Killed? Not kissed. Good news about the arm. Wonder why they could not determine if it was right or left arm. Too decomposed perhaps? It is good news nonetheless.
Eta just read further - confirmed as left arm and weighted down like other parts found 1 km away. Makes me wonder if he disposed of parts while travelling around in the sub at some distance apart on purpose to make it difficult to find and identify. I think they will find the remaining arm. Those divers are remarkable.

Killed? Not kissed. .

Not killed. Dismembered. It definitely said 'kissed', but is clearly wrong. I think ZaZara was just adding to the collection of inappropriate English translations for 'parteren' (I think that was the Danish word) on Google translate that had already been mentioned (see post 609). We had 'partner' and 'share' earlier in the thread. See also posts 440 and 441.

Maybe "parted" as in "split-up" or "split into parts" = dismembered. Some words often don't directly translate.

  • #620
Well, 'parted' has not so far occurred in Google translations of these accounts, as far as I remember, and 'partnered' always means something quite different though it has one similar component. Dismembering isn't exactly a concept that's subtle or culture-specific.

However, I did suggest that the original Danish word, 'parteren',might have more than one meaning and the computer had picked the wrong one. I don't know if our Danish contributors can comment.

I don't think the peculiar efforts of Google in this regard necessarily reflect the difficulties we are familiar with in human translation of words not directly translating into another language.
