Be interesting to see why he took saw, sharpened screwdriver, tubes and straps then won't it?

My guess is he didn't take the lifting gear because he knew he was going to cut her up.

It seems almost unbelievable that Madsen would talk to the prosecutor in this tone on day one of his trial #SubmarineTrial

And apparently they let him get away with it. Prosecutor does not appear to rise to the bait. IMHO PM is walking right into his own trap and positioning himself over and over again as someone who does not give one damn about convention and lives solely, extremely, by his own rules.

BTW Calling someone Jacob and worrying about his mental health is not lethal. it is odd that among all cruel details a reporter still would be shocked about this. Even more since Kim Wall wanted to interview PM because he was a freak. Megafreak does not begin to describe it.

I agree. If it is a private submarine then the public should not be allowed on board for trips imo. He said he has taken 250 people out on it so public safety tests should have been done. He seems to have operated with a lot of leeway from authority.

No doubt the court will call in the safety inspectors with their safety reports. To comment on the statements that PM made today.

I think I remember that Nautilus could not sail for a period of time not too long ago, because authorities had not approved it.
It needed some upgrades - as far as I remember.

I don´t know, but that would make sense.

I think I remember that Nautilus could not sail for a period of time not too long ago, because authorities had not approved it.
It needed some upgrades - as far as I remember.

If his version is accepted (which I doubt if he researched beheading and dismemberment beforehand) then he still killed her by gassing her it seems- whether deliberate or by accident- and he had to know the consequences of the engine running in a confined space perfectly well. Additionally, death by carbon monoxide poisoning would have been detected post mortem I would think. I will also be interested in the reasoning for the marks of her being tied up and whether those marks were pre or post mortem.

He was clearly trying to make it look like the marks came from his, according to him, efforts to get her out of the subm in one piece.

I think the prosecution deliberately saved some of the more gory details for the next court date.
Like the stabbings in and around her vagina (hate to write this!!!!!!!)

The prosecutor didn´t QUITE go there yet, but hinted at it.
I think to let PM sit and shake in his cell for the next 13 days, to break him down a little bit, dreading the next round of questioning.

The prosecutor managed to make Peter Madsen annoyed and agitated by his questions.

Finally Peter Madsen blurted out: the next time you are going to ask me about things you don´t believe, let me know in advance.
The prosecutor answered: I don´t believe anything you say.

Which shows that PM ACTUALLY thinks that people are buying his endless lies.
Amazing.

If it can be determined a 100%, it is a dumb move by the defence to claim it was carbon monoxide poisoning.

But I don´t think it can, and I think the defence has actually looked into that.
They are taking a chance, but not a chance, which will bring them down definitely.

I think time is a factor and maybe also the water the torso was in for a substantial time.

But I am NO expert, and we will see.

PM, yadda, yadda, yadda, all the lies about how Kim Wall died were told in consideration of her parents - he wanted to present her death as painlessly as possible.

To which the prosecutor answered: Still, you manage to
make it all about yourself.
