Deposition Questions that could be telling for the Anthony's

Are Zenaida's attorney's taping these depostions as well and will they release the tapes and the transcripts?

I think she's hoping there will be a lunch break and she can review George's deposition before she testifies. That way, she can point out both Morgan and George's errors before she answers any questions put to her.

Seriously how do they sleep at night when they are continually "spitting" on Caylee's grave.

My problem here is that I think all of these questions directly relate to ZFG.

The A's have REPEATEDLY screamed her name from all tv shows, and have never publically admitted that this ZFG was not the one that kidnapped their grand daughter.

They have been arrogant, offensive, and deceitful.

If Morgan can prove that ZFG DID NOT KIDNAP or KILL this child, and that KC did, his client is off the hook. Forever.

His client never was on the hook for Caylee's murder. KC never identified this woman and in fact specifically stated that she was not the person with whom KC left Caylee.

Personally I find it disgusting that Mr. Morgan has been legally allowed to ask questions of the Anthonys that have nothing to do with the civil case and everything to do with the criminal charges against KC. He's a grandstander and his client is an opportunist. They should both be ashamed of themselves.

I'd say it's her way of saying she thinks Morgan will "edit" the videos. You know - everyone's out to get the Anthonys. I wondered what was in that big bag - couldn't be all gum . . .

Actually, CA repeatedly went on national tv and Pronounced "ZENAIDA FERNANDEZ G" as the kidnapper of her grand daughter.

The connection to Sawgrass - the silver Ford - the initial description by KC - there WAS NO OTHER ZFG with these connections whatsoever.

Later, after this ZFG was cleared, not one of the A's came out to apologize or claim "This is NOT HER"

I totally agree with Morgan and ZFG for going after KC.

Would you EVER hire this ZFG around children in any capacity? Even knowing she had nothing to do with little Caylee?

There is a stigma there.

There will be for a long time. And it is ALL Kc's fault. She has noone to blame but herself. Her parents have no one to blame but their daughter.

No video camera for George. I guess Cindy decided that whatever he had to say is not as important as what she has to say.

I thought George was being deposed first and that's why she set it up this morning. Do you think she set it up, but it won't be turned on until she testifies ?

Kind of like an "I'll show you" attitude.

Can't wait to see this woman get knocked down a few levels when they question her.

If the situation was reversed the Anthonys would be on that person like maggots on pizza!
ZG and Morgan know she's broke - anything she makes from selling photos, books etc. will go to JB and the team.
This woman is even being criticized here - I believe she has every right to clear her name.

I don't believe she has a right to record her own video of the deposition. It's all a battle for control and a possible way to set up getting out of it. She may refuse if she can't do her own video. What a ridiculous woman.

Shamus, thanks for pointing that out. I thought that the room that the video was set up in was the room that Cindy was going to be deposed in. They are both to be deposed in the same room and that is where the camera was set up. I feel better now that I know that George also has a video camera. (sarcasm)

At first I read that it was going to be the transcripts, but I'm sure after seeing Cindy defiantly setting up her own video camera, Morgan will gladly release the videos.

George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway said he has been preparing for these depositions for weeks. He has made it clear that he will not let this be a "fishing expedition" for Gonzalez's attorneys.

In February, Lee Anthony, the couple's son, sat through three hours of questioning. His attorney would not let him answer questions like who's Caylee's father is, and if he think's Casey could be responsible for what happened to Caylee. Conway has been adament that he will only let his clients answer questions about Zenaida Gonzalez, not the murder case agaist their daughter Casey.

I looked at the Florida Civil Procedure rules a while back. The normal starting point is that a deposition is recorded by transcription, by a qualified court reporter who can swear someone in, etc. If notice is given, the party who noticed/is taking the depo can record it by video. As I remember, another PARTY to the case can record it if adequate notice is given. I don't remember anything about a deponent who is not a party doing a homemade video.

I would think (hope!) that setting up a video camera on somebody else would be against the law because it sure seems like witness intimidation to me!!
