Yes, I am questioning the complaint date, not the date of offense..

How could Amy file the complaint on the 8th if she was in PR?

Amy says in her statement that she found out about it later on the 15th, after Casey left with Cindy. She was calling the bank, and Ricardo went to see if the checkbook was there. SHe filed the complaint on the 16th. Data imput wrong, I guess. I think it should say the 16th. The checkbook was in her glove box, so my guess is she wrote the check on the 8th, cashing one at the BofA so it was probably made out to herself.

That was my reason for saying "Another typo?"

This is the first time I've followed a case this closely, online, and had access to these kinds of documents so maybe it's very, very common.

But there are a lot of strange "Typos" regarding dates in this case, recorded on official documents. This is the 3rd or 4th time, iirc.
