Don't you think that between the police saying Caylee is dead, the witness list and Joses statement yesterday, they all know something is about to happen?

But... the difference here is that once Laci's body washed up, Jackie Peterson had to stop saying she'd run off with another man...

I used to think that until I read the Trust Fund document:
"2. PURPOSES. The primary purposes of the Trust Fund will be to pay general expenses relating to the location and recovery of Caylee Marie Anthony, as well as general expenses of the burial and estate administration of Caylee Marie Anthony, should she be deceased."

WOW! I hadn't seen that. Do you know if this is a document that was specifically created by their atty. or is it a general form used for all trust funds of missing children?

I think the A's live in the huge land of denial - so I'm feel they wouldn't believe anything they were told negatively (IMO of course).

The sad part is - when this hits them (if they really have no knowledge) - it is truly going to knock the breath out of them - but I wonder what it would take.

I just wish someone / anyone could get KC to talk - it is time for this to end - I keep hoping that the maternal instincts her friends said she had initially will kick back in - but I am not betting the farm on it - that's for sure.

I can see them, 20 years from now, still discussing where Caylee might be.

I don't think they will ever deal with reality. They'd have to DO something about it.

Not me. This was my initial thought upon hearing the story when it first broke. I have gone back and forth a couple of times (wishful thinking ) but once all the interviews and documents got released and I could read the facts for myself I knew my initial thought was right.

However, contradicting myself for a moment--if she is found alive this will have to be the strangest case I've ever heard of!

We know shes dead, its a matter of time until charges are brought on Casey. I cant believe her parents can be in the same house with Casey. Id flip out on her!
My questions are; Is anyone even looking for Caylees body? It seems no one is, since TES left. I find that sad. Why isnt LE looking? Am I wrong?

Not sure why ... but I am starting to think that Casey put Caylee in the pool without her floaties ... and then simply walked away for a brief amount of time .. just long enough for Caylee to stop breathing ...

The reason I don't buy this is because even if the pool scenario was set up I think she could have called 911 and said it was an accident. I mean think about it, who would blame a parent who was probably already blaming themselves? And imagine how much empathy and attention it would buy Casey, "oh poor Casey, she can't work right now , she is in mourning, lets try to get her to go out and get this off her mind, it's just too hard for her to sit in this house and see all Caylees' stuff". She could tell the story to anyone she came upon and they would give her sympathy, and I don't think any of her boyfriends would break up with her anytime soon given all she had been through. Just doesn't add up for me that she would conseal that.

I read this on the Anthony's Donations thread and maybe someone from that thread can answer your question.

This is the first Trust Fund agreement that I have ever read for a missing child so I don't know the answer.

Up until I read this, I thought that CA was just in DEEEEEP denial because she lashed out at anyone who suggested that her granddaughter was dead or who was not focused on finding an alive Caylee. Because of her steady assertion that Caylee is alive I was suprised that she allowed this to be in the agreement and now I look at her in a different way.

same - was in the states visiting at the time or would have never heard of this at all. I watched the newsclip and 20 seconds into it, I thought: &^%$# killed that baby! then I sincerely hoped otherwise but there is just no way.

People know how people are even if not consciously. This stunk from the beginning (no, uh, irony intended...) really...31 days? had she reported it immediately, maybe she would have gotten away with it....

I learned not to go there. I just noticed a few people who normally post there were posting on other threads and it appeared some had changed their mind about things. I was curious if it was Baez' statement, LE's statement, or something else.
