AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Police who've been investigating the suicide of a bullied gay teenager announced Tuesday that they had decided the boy's death was not a crime.

After hundreds of hours of interviews into the suicide death of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, Amherst Police Chief John Askey announced this afternoon that there will be no criminal charges in the case.

Askey admitted to being disappointed.

Let's see...he killed himself, bullying is not a crime (schools are to handle it via disciplinary action), therefore this should not be a surprise to anyone. The kid took his own life. He failed to live. F.

Sounds like the kind of person who would defend Jerry Sandusky or Adolf Hitler. Bullying is a gateway to crime. Many criminals and evil figures were bullies, like Casey Anthony, Osama bin Laden, and Hitler.
