IMO, CA knew that kc was pregnant because they have early sona grams of a baby on the wall. CA made up the story of who the dad was (not kc).......dead of course, but never did anything like collect SS......why?
because he is alive and CA can't figure out which guy it is..........IMO

I'd say Casey probably didn't get pregnant on purpose. Now, if she'd slept with Jesse first, maybe she would have in order to latch on to a guy who'd take care of her and consider her a victim especially if she had recently been caught lying and stealing from her parents. I figure Casey was drinking booze and just slept unprotected with the wrong guy, but I do think she knows who fathered Caylee. Casey may have thought she had a good one at first though, and may have even met him online and he turned out to not be what she thought. Much like herself. Casey could have scammed her parents for quite awhile with tales of getting her GED, working, getting money to attend bogus college classes, flopping here and there but still coming back home for a long time without a child IMO. She could have done all that with or without a child, but probably would have been easier to do without a baby.

That looks like a pretty late-term ultrasound to me--6-7 months, perhaps. It's a very scrunched-up baby running out of room I wish we could see the identifying information printed on the film!

I suspect Cindy got Casey to an OB the second the pregnancy became real to her--perhaps around the 7-month mark, after Rick planted the seed in the Anthonys' minds. I doubt, however, that Casey went on her own prior. Changing her behavior to improve pregnancy outcome wouldn't really rank high on her list of priorities, I don't think.

I say it could have gone either way. It's really hard to say. Yeah, A baby would get in the way of her partying, but per JG, the partying is a newer thing, so IDK.

I doubt she gave it a thought beyond what she was doing at the moment. If she had...she would have latched onto someone with tons of money to support her and the baby.

I don't think she did it for the attention either. As Cindy reminded her..."Caylee was Casey's biggest mistake." (And one Cindy never let her forget.)

Ya know every time I read what CA said about Caylee being Casey's biggest mistake it just ticks me off :furious:I was a young mother had my daughter at 17. She was never a mistake she was a surprise. There is a big diffence. How can any child be a mistake.

After almost 6 months of following this case, IMHO it is highly unlikely that CA "forced" KC to keep Caylee.

KC and CA were close, but not that close. KC was clever enough to "take care" of the situation before CA would find out - if she was worried about CA's reaction.

Planned Parenthood anyone? I was able to get my 15 year old sexually active self there - and I am nearly 10 years older than KC. Even if she could not have confided in her girlfriends, a quick online search (and she is "computer savvy" per GA) would have gotten her all the answers she needed in that department.:waitasec:

As short-sighted as KC appears, her pregnancy with Caylee would have been a great means of gaining attention - not thinking of the consequences of raising a baby.

But then, if it were an attention ploy, she would have milked it before month 7...

So I'm back to square one - DENIAL. It's why she ended up becoming pregnant and giving birth to Caylee, why she was able to "hide" 7 months of pregnancy, why she was able to hide the alleged father and respective set of grandparents, and why dear Caylee's body was found just around the corner from Hopespring Drive...

If she got pregnant on purpose, then WHY no Child Support Financial Lawsuit? If Daddy really did die, then why no SSN lawsuit? And even with a "patsy" of a boy ready to take care of her knowing he wasn't the real Dad (JG) WHY dump him instead of marrying him, and then divorsing him later? Makes NO sense!

Makes perfect sense, of who didn't know who the father is.

However, I thinkher pregnancy was an accident.

addendum:
By all accounts she was functional up until Caylee. I'm sure we don't know the whole story but at least she worked, had a stable group of friends, dreamed of a photography career, and made no noticeable waves. Enter pregnancy/motherhood=KC hooks up with JG and "becomes" religious, changes friends like underwear, starts stealing from friends and family, sleeping around....IDK, bit it all sounds quite plausibly very much like a rape victim forced into silence facing her demons everyday in Caylee's sweet face.
