Did Casey Get Pregnant On Purpose?

I doubt it happened on purpose, but I imagine her seeing it being advantageous after she admitted it. Pregnant ladies and newborn babies/Mothers get LOTS of attention.

I agree with SS though, she probably lacked the forthought to see what kind of responsibility this was, and also lacked the heart to see the blessing she was given.

We now see what happens with some one like KC sees the advantages wearing thin... poor baby.

By all accounts she was functional up until Caylee. I'm sure we don't know the whole story but at least she worked, had a stable group of friends, dreamed of a photography career, and made no noticeable waves. Enter pregnancy/motherhood=KC hooks up with JG and "becomes" religious, changes friends like underwear, starts stealing from friends and family, sleeping around....IDK, bit it all sounds quite plausibly very much like a rape victim forced into silence facing her demons everyday in Caylee's sweet face.

IDK....Kio talks of some KC *issues* even back when they were in school....

I think KC may have always had trouble with the truth, that's not something that "happens" to a person, but all of the rest of it seems to have come on with Caylee from the information that we have. I also wish we could read Annie's interview. I'd bet money that a lot of questions are answered with her.
I just don't think Caylee was planned. I think that, if KC had planned things out, she would have milked the entire pregnancy for all it was worth.

Ya know every time I read what CA said about Caylee being Casey's biggest mistake it just ticks me off :furious:I was a young mother had my daughter at 17. She was never a mistake she was a surprise. There is a big diffence. How can any child be a mistake.

Calling a child a mistake is just wrong. I like what you say much better. It can damage a child psychologically to hear that they were a mistake. I'm adopted and my adopted mom would always tell me my birth parents didn't want me.

I don't believe that Casey was raped. I think that Casey knows who the father is, and CA does too. That's why they lied about Casey's pregnancy at 7 months to the extended family. That family is dysfunctional and has thrived on lies and secrets. The truth will eventually come out.
