In my opinion she truly thought she had put enough time and research into her story and because her family has always believed her lies, :liar:she never doubted that others would too. Casey seems to live in a world that few of us can fathom, in her own way she probably does believe she loved her child and Caylee was a sacrifice she was willing to make to have the life KC wanted. I also think it was the ultimate blow to CA because KC was showing her Caylee was mine to do want I want with, not yours. KC by her own admission could have given Caylee to her mother but I believe she did not want CA to win the tug of war that had been going on since Caylee was born. I also believe KC's family continues to perpetuate this cycle of manipulation that got KC where she is today by publicly standing behind her and claiming to believe her absurd stories. In their efforts to support their daughter/sister they have (at least in KC's mind) condoned her. MOO! Shame on all of them....

With Murder 1 hanging in the balance...why Casey took on the check fraud spree is just baffling. The 10-minutes-at-a-time frame of mind is just beyond anything I can comprehend. The check writing thing has me squarely on her being self-confident in her ability to "misconstrue".

And, of course, IF the June 21 diary entry is proven to be '08 (which IMHO it will be)...well...then...she was only a little bit worried.

Her parents and brother "BELIEVE EVERYTHING SHE SAYS", even now.kc thought this would never go out of the 'family' missing CAYLEE.

i had a dream one night ...i had been reading the forum to catch up after i missed about a week for back surgery...ugh...and i dreamed that she wanted to make sure that Caylee was nothing but bones before she had to leave for California. i can almost see her going by every few days to see how far along Caylee was disappearing. sorry to ask this but it has me bugged:banghead:

Nobody was ever convicted of Trentons disappearance / murder.
At the end of 06 in FL there was a case where a hispanic woman abducted an almost newborn baby.
Weird little simililarities, Like the abductor having a car seat already in her car, and diaper bag (which are the things KC left in her car)...Oh and the car was a ford, but not a ford focus.
The victims parents, also stated that they were too fearful to speak about it in case of retaliation by the abductor. They were illegal immigrants, and feared the 'coyotes' might harm their family members....just like KC's fear of 'Zanny' hurting her family if she didnt follow the script.

Physical description of this abductor and 'zanny' are similar, but not identical. Since this woman was never aprehended, KC might have thought LE would think it was same woman, search for a bit and then leave it at that.

I really wonder if this is why KC used the story she did...just used the pieces she remembered from this particular case ,who nobody has even been charged for., and why she thought she wouldnt be a person of interest when caylee went missing.
Just throwing ideas out there to be picked apart, lol.

Probably, and since the '06 abductor was never named, that was one bit she needed to make up herself.
She would look even worse if she couldnt name the person babysitting her child.
The first name had to be a version of zanny since that is what she had been saying the nannys name was, the 'F' bit, who knows....and the surname is very common.
In fact someone with that same last name was quoted regarding the 06 case.
Its probably nothing- but thats why I wanted to find the missing child sites she visited, that were apparently over a year before caylee went 'missing'.
I really dont know....my head hurts trying to think like KC.

But in all honesty/reality, the ONE person who KNEW the answers to Trenton's dissappernce off'd herself before the state could...There is not one single shred of evidence to suggest that Trenton is DEAD. (IMO) Just like Natalie H. No eviedence that she was back 3-4 years ago dead or even to this very day-dead. Again, JMHO.

KC thought she could get away with it because she's "gotten away" with so much else in her life up til now. Every member of her immeidate family was her enabler. They believed/ignored her lies, never held her accountable, never delved too deeply into her crazy scenarios, never really looked too hard at her actions, excuses, etc. I think CA was getting tired of it on some level, but having her grandchild around made it even more important to believe all KC's nonsense. KC's world is very small and her experiences are only those of a 22 year old who's never really been anywhere--no worldly experiences. Her world was her family and whatever friends she had at the time. She never thought outside of herself. And so she figured no one would confront her or question her. And I think her world just got even smaller.



I believe she thought she could cover with a good lie. Casey always thought she used creative "good lies". She never really knew what her friends REALLY thought of her. Lying has become a way of life with Casey, to the point that everyone around her expected it of her. But they never seem to blast her to her face with her lying. They just all assumed that everyone knew that she lies. So the little gal never had a clue how most of her acquaintances really felt about her. She didn't know how lame she sounded. Just as some folks think that they can sing because no one ever tells them otherwise. re American Idol.

Casey works in a haphazard way, but it is always overlooked. Almost always. This time her lie involved the heart and soul of her family, and they did not turn their heads the other way - not this time. So she got called on her huge lie. Now she is sitting where I fully believe she will be sitting for the rest of her natural life - locked up.



..I think both these posts are dead-on! Casey really thought she was brilliant. My personal favorite Casey quote comes from when she was supposed to be showing LE where "Gloria" (Zenida's mother) lived. After Casey takes them to 3 random houses, (where all the resisidents have never heard of a Glorida or Zenida) Casey says
"I don't remember where Gloria lives because I went there so many times I stopped paying attention on how to get there".

The way I always saw it is: BECAUSE she knew she would get caught, she had nothing to lose by taking Amy's money. The fraud charges would just get lost in the big picture.... She just endulged herself for the time she had left...

That seems to be her MO. She took the name of a real JH and gave him a son named Zack.

She included a child named Annabel in her Zani car accident story and details about Zani's concussion. She didn't just tell Amy that George was sick. He had a stroke with symptoms described by Casey. In Casey's texts to Amy every time they are supposed to meet Cindy to look at a house, Casey has a new detailed reason why she has to take a rain check.

I think Casey thinks the more spin, the more people will believe her.
