This is a very gloomy question but i've always been curious about this.

If an adult diabetic person ran away, but later died because they ran out of insulin, and their body was found, would the corner be able to determine their cause of death? and what exactly would they say/declare for the cause of death?

Here's why i'm asking this.
Back when i was 19 years old, i hated living with my adoptive parents and i tried figuring out how to run away, but im a type 1 diabetic, and i knew if i ran away i would eventually run out of insulin and die because im too broke to afford it (my adoptive parents get my insulin for me)
HOWEVER, im doing a lot better now, i dont live with them anymore and i'm living on my own in an apartment that they're paying for and they're getting my insulin for me too. But i'm still curious about this because im writing a fiction story on it.

so does anyone know if they would've been able to determine the cause of death? and what they would say/declare it as?
