Outlandishone, you're right. I just watched that video from Fox (hadnt seen that one yet) and there was the page, crumpled, in Casey's handwriting, of Caylee's 'firsts'. That was heartbreaking to say the least. Why would you throw that away?! One more thing to make me sick to my stomach over this case.

Not meaning to be contrary, but maybe she used the handwritten list to type up and save on her computer or type and print and put into an album. Given all we know in this case, it's automatic by now to always assume the worst possible motives, but it's unlikely that everything CA does has an evil and "couldn't-care-less" intent. Just saying....

Anyone notice Caylee in the back seat with a pink short sleeve shirt on... based on the little we can see, I'm assuming this is this summer... has Annie been interviewed since this looks recent?

I can't see the hat to have been in the shape it was on the video unless it was CUT up... why CUT a hat??? I just don't get that!

I think for sure LE has interviewd Annie, her interview is not one that was in 400+ document release. What HASEN't been released is almost as telling as what HAS been. IMO

That hat is in some photos of Casey and her friend-(the friend with her in the photo of 21st birthday - head in toilet....I think her name is Annie.)

She's in MANY photos with Casey and there's something about the shamrock...there was a shamrock hanging from Casey's rear view mirror, there was a big shamrock decal in the rear window of her car, she has a shamrock tattoo on the small of her back and that hat with the shamrock on it. I specifically remember her girlfriend wearing it and i'm sure it's the same hat because the brim of the cap is worn almost through the fabric.

I'm going to go look at those photos again. If anyone wants me to link to them here when I find them, I will.

I just think it's very weird that the hat was SHREDDED! Looks like it holds very bad memories for her...or something. Maybe her friends are turning on her. oooOOOhhhh!

Anyway, I think there is something a little bit significant about that ripped up ball cap with the shamrock.

Yep, she got very angry at that hat......The person wearing that hat must've turned on her or questioned her or something. She loves the media asking questions but no ex-friends? I say ex-friends because its obvious looking at the hat they aint friends anymore

I agree with that. I think folks assume if we have not read their name in the discovery docs LE has not talked to them, that is not the case.

Sorry it took so long for me to post this. I had to hunt down the WSers that went with the avatars I saw on the channel 6 video. One of the papers I could make out looked like it had darlin gal's signature and the other had jeannebreault's avatar. Lorraine had quite a few papers in her hand. Looked to be at least 20. I saw this in the video channel 6 ran on their 6 o'clock news. It was a different video than the one they showed earlier. I was hoping they would put it on their website. I haven't checked this morning to see if they did. The reporter called them e-mails, but they definitely looked like copies of posts.

Last night I was making a running list in my head about what HASN'T been released and there seems to be a lot of missing pieces. Seems to me that LE isn't rushing anything because they DON'T HAVE TO. So now she steals the hat and dumps it in the trash when she no longer needs it. Pattern?

Funny, all I see on the hat is the back seam is ripped. The rest of the had looks fine, except for occasional garbage on it. Could the back seam have been ripped to accomodate a pony tail??? And not ripped in anger or in any other emotion, but just to accomodate the hair?

I really think too much is being made of the hat. I know the Anthonys have dogs. Our dogs once destroyed every baseball cap my husband owned. They were stacked on a speaker by the TV, and they did it when we were at work. All that was left was the button in the middle.

True, but I didn't notice any chew marks on the hat. Granted my dog isn't the smartest dog, but I have a hard time visualizing a dog only ripping the back.

I'm in no way trying to be crass, just don't know much about hats (never wore one), but the girl in the pic seems to be kind of chunky, maybe she tore the back a bit to make the hat fit her? --Do all hats have that velcro stuff in the back? I don't know, just asking.
