Dina Shacknai wants Max's death reopened; gives ICU pic to media

In the interview it also points to 'specific times'. Dina and Nina have now both made public statements referencing Wednesday afternoon or Thursday as when they were told the extent of Maxie's injuries. I can understand the confusion with all that was happening to them. However Jonah somehow knew before them and made the alleged un-retrievable voicemail to Rebecca at 12:30am Wednesday morning.

NINA: So it was a, Max had a consult on Wednesday and this was really, this was after Rebecca had passed, that he had this cardiac consult and that he had a MRI to find out the extent of the damage Wednesday morning was when we found out, Wednesday morning afternoon was when we found out the actual extent of the damage. And it was shocking.

I contend Sisters Romano are lying. There's no way in hades doctors didn't tell Dina and Jonah within 12 hours of Maxie's admission his prognosis. Actually, they were in all probability, told within a few hours.

That heart consult Nina was speaking of, was most likely to verify if Max's heart was viable for transplant...the MRI was looking for brain activity. It's one of the last testing done, to be sure of brain death.

What day was Jonah's doctor friend picked up at the airport by Rebecca?
I contend Jonah had him flown in specifically to discuss Max's condition. And if so, I'm sure the doctor friend was in agreement with Maxie's doctors.

In Dina Romano's presser for Max's H.O.U.S.E. she states @4:58 Max died the morning he had his accident (my words). You know...because Max was left with Rebecca and one of Rebecca's family members. Anyways...I believe both Dina and Jonah were told Max was brain dead the same day he was brought in.

Jonah was supposedly at the gym down the street. The gym is now closed. As it stands now, we don't know if CPD, AB or Dina's investigative team verified his alibi.

Are there any phone records for this morning? Is it a fact JS was at the gym and got a call?

Then please tell me why the Zahaus all of a sudden shut up, and they never released the files. If there was all bad stuff on the Shacknais and Romanos, and none on Rebecca they would have released those files in a hot second.

They shut up because SDSD said they could not release the information "piecemeal", revealing only the pieces of information, out of context, that made their case look valid. So there is something in there they do not want you to know about Ms. Rebecca Zahau.

In my opinion as you put it, 'the Zahau's all of a sudden shut up' because of a Cease and Desist from Jonah Shacknai's attorney and a letter of intimidation from SDSO.

AB confirmed yesterday that Jonah was at the gym at the time of Max's accident and Dina was at the hospital the night of Rebecca's. They were both on security cameras

Where was this confirmed? If you're are referring to the interview with Dr. Drew, AB is referring only to Jonah and only Rebecca's investigation. Dina is NOT mentioned. If you have a different source that would be great!

CASSIDY, ALABAMA: I have a couple of questions. My first question is, I heard nothing about the father. Is he a suspect in either homicide, supposedly homicide?

PINSKY: Well, yes. To call these homicides at this point is jumping the gun a little bit. And Anne, I`ll rephrase the question for you. I know you`re having trouble hearing Cassidy, which was --

BREMNER: Yes.

PINSKY: Where does the dad fit into this -- the story? Was he a suspect at one time?

BREMNER: Apparently, he was not. His name is Jonah Shacknai. He was cooperative through all of this. He had an alibi, and it was on video. They didn`t call anybody suspects in this case, Dr. Drew. They simply closed it out as a suicide, at least, with Rebecca, and then with Max, an accident. So, they never got to the point of using that type of terminology with anybody.

@MyBelle
CPR is effective some of the time. Some of the time.

For people who have spinal cord trauma, in the location where Max did and the same type, CPR (even correctly given) is ineffective. Drugs, machines and whatever else are ineffective.

Max did not die because 'someone' didn't get to him in time. Max didn't die because 'someone' didn't perform CPR long enough. Max did not die because CPR was done incorrectly.

Max died because the type of injury and placement of injury. Nothing would have saved Max. Nothing.

And that, MyBelle, is a FACT.

No it isn't a fact. Your misrepresentations are almost laughable. You certainly don't seem to have any compassion for the child.

Max WAS kept alive for several days because of CPR. His spinal cord injury did not cause brain death. Lack of CPR caused brain death. That remains a fact that has been noted by several physicians.

I'm pretty sure it would be impossible for anyone to diagnose Max's spinal cord trauma just by looking at his crumpled body on the floor. Paramedics did perform CPR. RZ did not. She claimed to have provided a couple of "breaths" and also claimed the child said, "Ocean." Her version doesn't fit with the facts.

I find the woman's failure to at least try to help the child to be appalling.

Ah! Excellent question! We'll probably never learn that info. Cripes, she is no-where on video tape. However, the witness who saw her at the mansion would know what color her hair was that night.

SDSO knows Dina was no where near the mansion that night. The witness saw Nina. We've gone over this and over this.

As I recall, that's what Rebecca's sister said-when they talked in the evening Rebecca was hoping that Max would recover and Max was having a test in the morning. Then she goes on and kills herself before even finding out the results of the test, according to police because of the phone call telling her Max's condition worsened. First of all, I don't see evidence anything actually worsened since Max arrived at the hospital at night when Rebecca got that phone call. What doctor would even be in the hospital at that late time to tell Jonah about this worsening, and before the MRI?
Second of all, why didn't Rebecca wait on the results of the test before killing herself?

Because either way she was screwed. If he lived, he would tell that she did to him, and if he died, she would be convicted of trying to kill a child.

I have to agree with you on this entirely. In addition, there is a vast difference between having hope but knowing the situation is dire and thinking Max will just need a tutor for some things. Both Dinah and Jonah are in professional positions that closely intersect with the medical community, plus they had their doctor friend like you said. I really hate to say this, but I feel they are both revising history because they know darn well it would make them look less suspect. If they didn't know it was serious, why on earth would they so urgently be trying to contact Rebecca late at night. Nina we know for sure said she both phoned and was there. As I posted a long time ago, if you are standing outside someone's house, close enough, and you dial there phone, it could be because you are trying to locate what room they are in.

And both of those were BECAUSE Anne Bremner and the Zahaus were releasing information out of context. And only the information that benefited them, and none of the information that proved Rebecca killed herself.

I think she killed herself because she knew CPS and detectives were being called in to investigate.

What other information is there that proved Rebecca killed herself that we haven't already heard? I don't think there is any.

This thread is for discussing "Dina Shacknai wants Max's death reopened; gives ICU pic to media". There are other threads if you want to discuss the evidence - including DNA and fingerprints - the SDSO have that led them to correctly determine her death a suicide. (IMO)

Perhaps the info stated there will help you to process the FACT no CPR, no machines would bring Max back.

All MSM reports indicated that RZ DID provide CPR. YOU need to link your statements if you are going to put them out there as fact, AND you may not send others to find the links themselves. If you are going to state facts - link them up or reword your opinion to clearly indicate you are not stating facts as reported by MSM.

FACT: CPR keeps the blood circulating even if the heart is stopped. I never stated that Max's heart should have started beating again after 2 minutes of CPR. <modsnip>.

FACT: according to the AR, RZ told the first responder that she gave Max "a few breaths." Breaths without compressions are useless and she wasn't observed by the first responder as doing anything to help Max.

<modsnip>. The experts have concluded the child was a victim of homicide. The issue isn't that she failed to help him, the issue and topic of this thread is the grave injury inflicted upon his innocent little body while in her direct care.

How can DS now claim that she didn't know about MS' dire situation until Wed/Thurs (whichever she is now stating) when DS' boyfriend's young daughter knew that MS didn't have any brain activity, as she posted on the evening of the day he fell, Monday? TIA
