Discrepancies in the Depositions Between Anthony Family Members

I'm not sure she meant anything by it...but it seems after being out of Ohio for over 20 years she would realize what she has is just storage space and call it that.

Maybe it is as simple as this subject has never come up. They clearly do not communicate in that family.

I understand what Cindy is trying to say here. My home in California is built on a cement slab. What we consider our "attic" is actually a crawlspace above the house ceiling and under the roof - it is tiny and simply there for access for electricians, roofers, etc. if needed. It is unfinished. We do use it for storage, but there is actually very little room. We even cut a hole in our garage ceiling to get more access to another part of our "attic". We are inconsistent as to what we call it, we use all three words, attic, crawlspace or just storage space - it is a regional thing. Even though I know what a real attic is - an actual room - to us this is an attic because it is all we have.

Same in TX. I call our above-the-garage storage space an attic, not a crawl space. But I can see her calling it that. It's no biggee to me, in this instance. C & G are so anal retentive about neatness that I don't find it unusual that the unused carseat is stored away. The issue is being over analyzed, imo.

If it has a pull down staircase, we would call it an attic in my house....Doesn't have to be a finished or four walled room, just space above the top liveable floor.

  • #105
I think people are assuming attic to mean dead space above the ceiling. Attics are pretty standard over garages in Florida as the air handler is usually up there. Sometimes it is over the living space, but a pull down staircase is common and placement in the garage makes it closer to the ac unit outside.

All the Anthony's stated that there where keys kept to the shed where everyone could get to them in the garage.

So why would Tony need to 'break' the lock off the shed to steal the gas cans, why didn't casey just get him the key?

George saying Cindy saw Caylee that morning as she was getting into her car
Cindy stating she did not see Caylee that morning.

GA said the keys were kept in the garage or his nightstand - maybe kc didn't know about the nightstand or she was in such a hurry not to get caught at home. I assume it was actually broken into between the 20th (the first friday she ran out) and the 23rd.

GA contradicted himself when talking about when Caylee woke that am. He said he didn't know when she woke (around pg 273) but b4 he said around 7:30, said he gave her bite of his bagel but also said he fed her cereal & bagels (?)

he said he walked them out to her car & held door while kc put caylee in the carseat on 16th

If she would have used a key, it's obvious who took the gas since she did it before. If the shed somehow got broken in to, well that's anyones guess. IMO that is why she broke into the shed and didn't bother using the key.

She was also supposed to be in Tampa, so if she borrowed the gas properly, they would have known that was not true.....She wasn't trying to have to explain anything to them if she didn't have to, she was trying to avoid them all together.

Or maybe GA hid the key thinking KC would have to come home with Caylee at some point. No gas, no money. He knew she wasn't working. He most likely knew she was entering the house and getting food and other things. I think GA knew who stole the gas when he reported it.

Florida houses as a general rule are built on slabs..(GA's and CA's is btw), and most attic space here is called a crawl space, you have very little room to store anything, anybody wanting to know what a Florida attic looks like let me know...I'll go take a picture of mine :)

And for the most part, you access them from an 18 x 18 square opening in the ceiling of the garage or hallway of the house. Very few older homes (I would consider their's older) have the pull-down stairs.

Good point, but Cindy states that when she told Casey the shed had been broken into when they were talking on the phone she said "I took the gas cans mom" and Cindy told her she better tell her Dad.

So if it was to look like some stranger break in...why would casey so readily admit it to her mother.

Something is not right with that whole scenario of breaking into the shed.

In regards to neck breaking search...a couple things...

I recall in the texts she had with Anthony Rusciano that KC could not come over to his house cause her mom hurt her neck really bad and could barely lift her head. (and her pretend Nanny was unavailable)

So out of pure concern for her Mom KC searched neck-breaking to see if Mom dearest broke it, ya know just looking out for her mom.

I also recall a truck photo that had a breaking necks sticker on the back of it, maybe it is a band, or a truck club name or something similar.

Well if they are reading here I just gave them 2 possible lies to tell for the neck breaking issue. It's all yours Anthony family, ad it to your ever growing list of bull.

As for the rest of us, we want justice for little Caylee!

George says the lock wasn't broken, just on the inside of the shed. Didn't Tony admit to using a crowbar to open that shed??

Not sure where to put this. It's actually the complete opposite of a discrepancy, believe it or not. I do believe that this is one of those rare moments that GA and CA have spoken the truth.

LDB: You've gone to the national media and given information about yourselves, correct?

GA: Anything I could do to bring my granddaughter home, to get my daughter out of jail, I'll do it. I'll sell my soul to the devil right now to get her out of jail, to answer your question.

Um no george, that didn't answer her question, but it does answer a lot of questions for me.

In CA's depo she states something to the effect of, I'd rot in jail for my daughter.

I don't want to look it up in her depo though. You can't make me go back in there, I tells ya! I don't deserve it.

Anyway, I hope it's ok to put here. If I opened a thread about the A's honesty, stories that corroborated, and statements that made sense.... well that would sure be an empty and lonely thread.
I just thought these two statements are telling, and confirm what we already knew. That the A's will sell their soul to save their daughter, even at the expense of Caylee.

These are sick thoughts they are having about sacrificing themselves for her. I could go on forever about how twisted this is from a psychology POV....They think they are doing something for KC when they say this, but they are actually once again preventing her from realizing adulthood and taking the attention, achievement, fault, punishment, etc. (whether positive or negative) from KC.
I am so glad that my parents are healthy enough people that they would not put up with this garbage-Their morals make me who I am today.

In order for GA and CA to truly, truly show KC real love, they need to let her face this trial and face her consequences, it is the greatest gift they could ever give her-If they do not let this go, KC will never really accept her own actions and begin the process of asking for forgivenesss or even apologizing, before her death or long term conviction. Had they not behaved like this, KC may have confessed by now.

Eileen Wournos knew what she had done and died with a little more peace than she had when she went in-Charles Manson will never admit that what he did was wrong, he continues to justify it and is a nasty old angry man that will die angry.

I should add, too, that there is no way in hades that CA would rot in a jail cell for KC-She would be there one day and be bi%ching up a storm until she got out-This is not school detention, this is prison. CA/GA's cliches are not even realistic, they are disrespectful of Caylee and the process, and honestly a note to CA & GA....You might be willing to "rot in jail" (not), but the rest of us really would prefer you not let a murderer out on the streets while you do her time.

That makes a lot of sense 3doglady. Maybe he set a trap by hiding the key and just bided his time until Casey eventually snuck home to use his spare gas from the can (which he knew she would).. Of course he wouldn't have admitted any of his little plan to Cindy though.. He had already learned what happens if you rock the Cindy/Casey boat.

IMO George is a LOT more cunning that he makes himself out to be.. Cunning, sneaky but WEAK!!

GA also mentions that other people in the neighborhood had some gas stolen. Could KC have been watching when people left and then stealing their gas so that she wasn't always having to get money from her mom for gas? Or did George lie about other people having their gas stolen? I hope that LE interviewed all neighbors about anything stolen/missing from their houses.

I want a huge poster to sit on an easel on display right next to them as they are on the witness stand with those exact two quotes, I will sell my soul to get my daughter out of jail and I would rot in jail for my daughter. That is the alpha and the omega that all that they may testify needs to been seen through. Do you remember OJ being asked did he ever hit his wife,"No, no, never!", he said and all the while directly behind him was that huge poster of a very obviously swolen and badly beaten Nicole (civil trial)? You can bet that the jury will hear of these declarations of the parents. They will know.

Snip:

So if it was to look like some stranger break in...why would casey so readily admit it to her mother.

And if Casey readily admitted it to her mother, why would Casey a few hours later be angry and thrust them at George saying, "here are your f---ing gas cans?"

Oh wait---I think I just answered my own question: Casey was angry because those f---ing gas cans were making George try to go into her trunk...a trunk which held something much worse than stolen gas cans: Evidence of Caylee's death or perhaps plastic garbage bags containing Caylee's corpse?

How infuriatingly inconvenient for KC that George was determined that day to look in her trunk because he suspected his stupid gas cans were in there. I never could figure out why she bothered to exert herself enough to remove them herself and shove them at him. It would be so much more like her to open her trunk wide and tell him he could get his f---ing gas cans out.

You know, that worthless, banged up gas can (with the duct tape on it) is going to end up being the death of her. Literally. I hope.
