Discussion about a case that personally happened to me allowed?

Hey,
I am new here and would like to know if it is allowed to discuss something in the forum that has personally happened to me and led to memory loss. It would be interesting to hear what others who are interested in true crime think about it and if someone might have an idea of what could have happened. That might help me a bit.

In which subforum should I best post this then?

I did a little research @xFelix and I think the Jury Room, which is for off-topic posts, would work best. Your situation is personal, rather than being about a particular case with a police report or story in MSM (mainstream media). Be sure to give it a title that makes clear what it’s about. I’ll keep an eye out for it. Hope this helps in case mods have been too busy to respond. We do keep them busy!
