Y'all please post more of the sidebar content for those of us that can't get to the transcript!!!
The murderer's mom can not have just nails they have to be acrylic nails.
The most interesting and entertaining portions are the sidebars. Finally getting a glimpse into JSS' thought process. She invariably sounds like she's running the courtroom by committee. Her favorite phrase is "how are WE going to....." whatever.
And Nurmi sounds even more like a petulant jerk at sidebar than he does in open court.
Yep, she and her lawyers are trying to humanize herself to the jury. It's harder to put someone to death if you "know" about them. Ugh! she is so pitiful!
You see what's she's doing here. What she always does. She's mirroring Travis here, as she really has no real abuse of her own.
NOW SHE IS the one that grew up with drug addicted parents.![]()
Could not agree more! I think those reporting she showed a bit of remorse in her testimony are confusing remorse and regret.
She has regrets, yes. Many in regard to getting caught and many more in regard to how stupid some of her lies were during interrogation.
Never does the killer say she is truly sorry for the murder of the man she once loved, that she misses him every day, that she will carry the guilt of her actions with her until the day she dies, that there is nothing in the world she would not do to change what happened that day if only she could. That's how one begins to show remorse, and those who actually feel remorseful mean it when they say it.
Some 'remorse'. How does that even begin to mitigate the fact that she coldbloodedly premeditated the murder with meticulous planning and then killed Travis 3 times over with that same sadistic coldbloodedeness. Her 'remorse' comes across as vapid and shallow.
could anyone tell me the TOTAL pages of this mess? I have read 144 is that all of it?
Thanks!!
Not sure if this has been spotted by anyone. I just shared this on sidebar and wanted to share here as well.
This is interesting. I think this proves that she had Travis phone answering voicemail passcode where she could get into his voicemail and delete her own messages she was leaving until she got it just right. This would prove she was listening to all Travis phone messages that people were leaving him.
Maybe we already knew this, but this seems to be proof.
Nurmi: "When you listen to your voice on that phone call, what do you think of
yourself"?
JA: "...I was at Hoover Dam....I remember that phone call, and I remember how
many tries it took me to get the recording right so that I sounded normal....

"What about writing?" #JodiArias: "Writing was also an interest of mine from the time I was very young." #spellbinding
Jodi stopped by Brewers home and had breakfast with him and his son on her way to commit a murder. He said she acted normal. He did not know her as well as he thought he did. He said she acted normal during their relationship. JB is not in the position to recognize NORMAL as it applies to JA.The Gold Patrol ‏@thegoldpatrol 31s31 seconds ago
#jodiarias admits her intention with visiting Ryan Burns after killing Travis was to act normal - and make it seem shed never been to AZ
I'm on page 55 and she is discussing how she put her things slowly but surely in Bobbie's shed. She says she had dishes and "things" that her dad gave her when he closed the restaurant. Maybe some of the other "things" he gave her were KNIVES.
October 31, 2014 was 144 pages. On November 3, 2014 they got to 105 pages before the COA told the judge, 'oh no you don't go letting a convicted killer testify in secret for their own mitigation'.could anyone tell me the TOTAL pages of this mess? I have read 144 is that all of it?
Thanks!!
It would be classic Jodi if she did these two things:
a) Arranged to be in the witness chair before the jury came in - you know, so they wouldn't see her stun belt and all.
b) Arranged to replace that chair with one about 6" off the floor so she appears to be about the size of an elf to the jury.
