I guess we'll never know how much of her family abuse story was real vs fabricated, with the fabricated parts no doubt meant to sound worse than what we know Travis really did experience.

I really don't hear abuse in her story. I truly hear about a normal family going through their own trials and tribulations while trying to run a business and make ends meet while also trying to raise four children, one of whom has BPD and is making things hell for everyone. While I think she outright lied about some of the more outrageous things like the cocaine and her Mother smoking a joint the day she was born (although it may have been a good pain killer LOL), she neglected to mention the fun camping trips with her family that she talked about when discussing how good she was as an influence on DB's son because of her experiences with her siblings. Oopsie. I do believe what her father said in the beginning about how poorly she treated her mother. She became abusive and destructive to the family unit as she grew older and by her teens she was extremely difficult for her parents to deal with, refusing to deal with any type of rules or authority and physically and emotionally abusive to her mother who was probably the parent who was left to try to deal with her. Especially if her father did lose his cool once and realized he should not be trying to deal with her outbursts and therefore left it all to her mother. I believe she was still exhibiting that abusive behaviour towards her mother just before killing Travis. And of course we have no explanation for why she was crying to her father when she found out Travis was seeing another woman when she first moved to Mesa to stalk him....I mean marry him.

He sure did. And when he did have sex with Deanna, he dealt with that guilt by admitting it to his Bishop didn't he? I don't even believe most of the story of how they met and got together so soon. I think someone set them up to meet (Dave) and she did most of the pursuing after that. I notice we're not seeing any of the texts or phone records between them during that convention or the week after in which she claims TA did all the texting and calling.

Throughout I have noticed how hard JA tries to embellish her prior job positions and their importance. She really was a waitress......end of story and she was never paid for her photography work either. There is nothing wrong with being a waitress of course but it irks me how she tries to put herself on some special pedestal as if there is no waitress alive as good or as important as she was. Gah.

It really shows what an overblown narcissist she truly is. Everything to Arias is about making her look better even though she fails miserably.

Imo, inside she is as cold as granite.

Thanks for the detailed insight. Why would Juan ever choose B5 if he had a choice? The bell has been rung and she can just say a more polished version of it in allocution again anyway. I would love B1, but like you say it ain't gonna happen. I would think Juan would prefer B2 to B3 - He can get dedicated time separate from closing to rip into it, then he could still do some of it again at closing right. If JSS were to opt for B4, could she restrict allocution to not mentioning anything that happened before whatever time in her life she stopped her testimony? That would lead to some yelling and motions and appeals from the DT wouldn't it?

I don't know why he would choose B5 (striking the testimony) unless he just hasn't thought about how that would prevent him from ridiculing it lol. But he did mention that as the solution in a sidebar.

If her testimony were magically converted into allocution, JSS could definitely tell her not to repeat herself without fear of reversal on appeal. She could not restrict her to a certain time period though--what if she forgot to tell one of her Stories of Tragic

When I read that remark by her I thought "suuuure, Jodi, suuuure." It's not just that JeinsteinA would of course never admit to anything merely average, like a C, and of course she'd never ever admit a D or F. What really struck me is that "mostly." In her way of thinking, the "mostly" means (to her) that she's not exactly lying--she's leaving wiggle room. As for her even considering that her academic transcripts might be checked, I doubt it. She has no problem ignoring reality, and when confronted with concrete proof, like a printed and officially signed and sealed school record, she'd just blithely deny its validity with lies. "The principal changed my grades because he didn't like me because I knew more than my teachers . . ." or something like that. Or the ninjas altered it.

She said she was getting mostly Ds at the end of her junior year when she quit school. I don't understand the exchange student thing. Don't you have to have passing grades to go off o an exchange program? Jodi met Bobby J. at a carnival when she was 15. She described the way she met him and it was, in ways ,like when she met Travis in Las Vegas.

I'd like to know what kind(Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu, Jiu-Jitsu, etc), when and for how long(belt level?) JA and her brother took martial arts and what was the name of the "private" school she attended after having been held back in kindergarten and if there was a specific reason for not attending public school. I mean, how bad can an elementary school be to need to go to a private school for grades 1-3, especially if the parents are not well off(both worked to keep their restaurant business afloat, even employing their children to help out) and on top of all that(according to JA), drug using abusive parents?

Just finished the imaginary life of CMJA. I got the impression that once these guys left her, she kept insinuating herself back into their lives over and over. I totally agree with so many of the observations and comments up thread. Thanks for posting the pages.

What the heck did I just read? 144 pages of childhood memories where she seemed to move across the state every 18 months or so. And then another 105 pages of "TA asked me to go to church with him, and then asked me to perform oral sex on him." Umm what?? And every single encounter she has him pulling her into cars and behind trees in the park to have sex?? I don't believe one word of it. And she was such a wilted flower that she had sex with him multiple times in these instances ( If, and a big "if" they were even true) and didn't think to say "gee I don't even know this guy, I should tell him "no"?? Or think to herself "does a supposedly devout religious person act this way?"

And I saw absolutely nothing that was any sort of bombshell. Why was this testimony secret again??

JA says things in the strangest ways. Page 41 of the Nov 3 transcript she's asked what religion TA said he was and she replied "He said I'm Mormon". That to me is a really odd way of answering a question that's honest, simple, answer is Mormin.

.......And then I'm standing there, there are crowds like just everywhere, different people grouped together, and out of my left there's somebody waking toward me really fast. And I could see this person coming out of my periphery. And he was walking toward me. And he seemed to be going somewhere. So I moved to step out of the way to let him pass and he stopped right in front of me and put his hand out and said, hi, I'm Travis.........

I know where I met my husband, how I met him, what date I met him but I really don't remember if he was on my right or my left when I first met him. Why does Jodi Arias add so much flowery details in her recollections? I guess she does it to make her story believable but the effect is just the opposite.

Were those admitted in the first trial? If so, they can be sent back to the jury room with no need for anyone to testify about them this time around. Besides, I can't imagine JM cares one way or the other about those. Hasn't everyone under 40 sent or received one? I can't say personally. I'll be 45 next week. But that's my impression lol.

I do remember her saying that she and her sibling took Karate lessons, but now in this she said it was she and Matt that took them and the instructor was Kit Crum. My question is why if you have theses skills to defend yourself why you wouldn't of used them on a wet naked man than running to get a gun that may not be there according to her story.

I think Bill shoved Jodi into the door frame when she was getting psychical with Sandy, to stop her from doing anything else to her mom.

^^^ AZL- I am glad you said the under 40 part- I am 49 and have never sent nor received one. My husband travels at times for work and we have never had phone sex either. I am a prude, I guess.
