If the four AC sex workers were all found shortly after they were all murdered, then I would suppose the police should have been able to collect good DNA samples from them. I would think so, unless the AC killer was really sophisticated. If they did get DNA, then they should be able to do the genetic genealogy with the DNA. Any info. or opinions on this ?

Yeah, you would think they might have the killers DNA.....the police had taken several peoples DNA for testing if memory serves. Also, a 41-year-old repairman who was being allowed to stay for free at the Golden Key Motel in exchange for repairs when the murders took place, was implicated by his girlfriend as the killer.

There have been no DNA matches to connect the repairman with the crimes and he was never named as a suspect.

There was thought to be a possible connection to the Long Island serial killer but investigators later ruled it out.

(You would think the detectives would do a genetic genealogy test to find the killer, assuming they have his DNA)
