A bit of a bummer that the new cases still aren't listed but hopefully research is going well.
All the new cases were added to the spreadsheet!!!!
All these cases have matches over 100 cM: Laura&Layla (Phoenix, AZ), Baseline John Doe (Phoeniz,AZ), Ada Bones JD (MI), Jenny Ottawa co (MI), Lilydale JD (MN), Mattilda Ottawa co (MI)!

Unfortunately Bowmanville JD has just one match over 40cm :( I would like to see her admixture

Great news for those numbers on the Michigan cases. I hope it's a quick ID process for them.

I wonder if Bowmanville JD's low numbers might be due to a poor sample. Could also be First Nations as well, as I'm not sure they are that prevalent in the databases.

Two Phoenix cases have great numbers as well! Baseline JD has the highest match of all the new cases (309,2 cM)!
Yes, I was thinking Bowmanville could be First Nation or could she be of Dutch and Danish ancestry as Millie? I also wonder if Ukrainians are well represented in Gedmatch

I wasn’t even aware Baseline JD was active now

Also Gacy Body 5 and Lake Michigan JD are not listed yet.

No new cases added to the spreadsheet :(

I hope new announcements are coming, Othram has so many announcements recently, two of which are Canadian cases, hopefully it will Nation River Lady’s turn this year as well…

We got you covered. Announcements on their way…

Jackson co Michigan Doe and Baseline Doe Phoenix AZ are now active cases! Also there is a new (it is his first and only reconstrcution) reconstruction by Carl Koppelman of John Lehman Burnett co. Wisconsin

Even with all the updates and how many cases they have active, I hope the project picks up more cases, they only have 15 pending right now.

I agree! Without Unhold cases it is even 11.

Nation River Lady can be the first one identified and there are other cases taken by forensic genealogy companies. I read about at least 3 Canadian cases taken by different forensic genealogy companies in 2021:

1. Bowmanville Jane Doe by DDP (it is their third Canadian case)
2. Whitehorse Yukon John Doe by Othram
3. Babes in the Wood (Vancouver, British Columbia) by Redgrave Research

Any other cases taken by other companies? Are there local forensic genealogists in Canada? May be it is not public by some cases are being worked by locals?
For Babes in the woods, the following is happening - 7 decade old case!

Is the project taking it on?
Anthony and Lee Redgrave are working on this case. The article reveals that the two boys were actually half-brothers, so they had only one parent in common.

Ramsey County JD is now active.

Jefferson County John Doe's NamUs is down.

Wow, the DDP took this case in the beginning of 2020 (added to the website on March, 3rd 2020), it is a relatively new case, also because it is from 2019. From the beginning it had good matches that even improved after the Gedmatch changes.

I am glad it is solved!

According to NAMUS Jefferson county in Tennessee has only one more unidentified person case (from 2003) and that was a man renting and living in the basement using an alias at the time of death, actually, he had more than 20 alias.

The DDP has good luck so far with Tennessee cases, two more cases LaVerege co Jane Doe and Chattanooga John Doe have fairly good matches on Gedmatch. I hope the DDP will take more cases from there.

He is now listed as identified on Doenetwork, interestingly, it is said he was identified by forensic genealogy and radiograph comparison, I am a bit surprised, did not see this type of comparison before:
3571UMTN, discovered on March 10, 2019 in Dandridge, Tennessee has been identified by forensic genealogy/DNA testing and radiograph comparison per the Regional Forensic Center. No further information is available.

Hopefully something will be said soon by the DDP, I've already moved him to identified on both the UID wiki and the DDP's wiki page. At the very least he'll probably be moved to their success stories.
