There are 45 identified cases, 3 identified but not announced (Hudson JD, Jefferson co JD and Baseline JD (Phoenix), makes 48, so many cases yet to be announced (around 16). What a year for genetic genealogy, every year more and more cases solved! Othram as well has a lot of identifications this year! It seems the technology and methods are improving a lot.

It seems Rohnert Park John Doe 2015 Namus is down. But if somebody can double check, it can be nice.

Just checked, and it's down for me as well.

Decent jump in Grant (KY) JD's numbers with today's update, but nothing really else (no new cases added yet either).

. I jumped straight on to see my “ground zero” case - Grays Harbor - but she hasn’t been added yet.

Actually no new cases have been added to the speadsheet in the last 2 months, there were 5 cases which became active a couple of months ago. I am not sure if Joan will add any new cases

I’d guess they’re still cleaning up from the ISHI
Hi, Doggybag2355, I have noticed that they have deleted many cases from Wikipedia page unidentified victims in the U.S., do you know why somebody would do it? I don't see any sense in it, why somebody would prefer to delete and not to add and create? if it was the decision of the moderators, what was the reason?

Acccording to a group of Wikipedia moderators, the list wasn’t “encyclopedic” and the page was worthless in their eyes. I’ve pretty much devoted all of my time to the unidentified wiki now because of that

I wrote to Joan (there is her email on the spreadsheet) asking if any new cases will be added, did not receive any answer so far. There are 4 cases which became active this summer but are not on the spreadsheet: Michigan Lake JD, Jackson co Doe, Gacy victim 5 ann Gwinett co JD, and 2 new cases from this month

i am sorry to hear that, that was the main page I visited in wikipedia, it was very good, because it was structured and organized and you did a very good job. I feel the moderatos have nothing to do, but to discuss what else to delete. I think they will just turn away people who were actually helping. Did you try to ask if they need help with Doenetwork? May be also with Dnadoeproject page :)

I might look into Doe Network, as for the DDP page, there’s another user that still keeps it updated, and I’m just afraid that the same thing will happen so I’m just not going to edit anymore on Wikipedia

Since St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department seems to have gotten involved with the DNA Doe Project, I hope they will reach out to neighboring counties to help identify the victims of Maury Travis with the same methodology. As far as I know, there are still at least four unidentified women connected to him.
St. Louis has a good amount of cases too. Aside from the girl found in 1983 (who I’m willing to wager Othram is already working on), I think they have a few dozen

The spreadsheet has been updated, and the information changed up a bit. There are now 4 tabs on the sheet.

Gacy victim 5's highest match is 279.2.
Lake Michigan JD's highest is a whopping 422.7!
Ramsey County JD's highest is 286.
Luce County JD's highest is 99.8.
Jackson County D's highest is 221.
Gray's Harbor County JD's highest is 42.1.

The spreadsheet has been updated, and the information changed up a bit. There are now 4 tabs on the sheet.
Thank you so much, this is much easier to navigate! My only suggestion, and this is just in my opinion, the solved cases tab could possibly have another column for their solve date/year and be sorted by year (ex. 2021 - 2018)
