Although he was listed as identified quite a while ago, Mill Creek Shed Man's name and story details have recently been released:
Identified! - WA - Snohomish Cty, Male UP 13502, 50-65, Jan 2015 - Mill Creek Shed Man Nathaniel T Deggs

Such a heartbreaking life story but at the same time it lifts my spirit to see that so many people cared about this man-- not only trying to help him while he was alive-- but also many worked for years to give him the dignity of his real name in death. I don't know if his family was able to claim his remains or not but I hope he is given a grave maker with his name on it now that his name is known.

I agree that was a horrible reconstruction. I never would have matched her up even if she had been in all of the missing person databases. I hope LE can figure out who murdered her now that she has been identified. I suspect it may be someone she knew. MOO.

Yeah, I’d advise them to look into her husband. She was married at the time of her death. She was in NamUs but I think she was private so we wouldn’t be able to view it.

A few things from the Google Drive update on 12-24 that weren't mentioned earlier:

Chatanooga John Doe got one more match over 40 cm, bringing his total to 9.

Jonesport John Doe (ME) unfortunately lost 2 good matches, bringing him down to 186. A new feature on this Google Drive is showing good matches with family trees now. He has 48 matches with family trees made.

Harper Jane Doe is doing very well. She got a new match over 40 cm, bringing her total to 13. We should see an identification by early next year.

New Britain Jane Doe gained 10 new matches, bringing her total to 146.

Montana John Doe (2003) is being worked on well. Out of the 3 matches he has, they all have family trees.

Pulaski Jane Doe gained a new match, bringing her total to 12. We should see an identification sometime next year.

Barron County 1982 Doe was added and has 3 matches over 40 cm. His highest is 283.3 cm, so an identification should be expected VERY soon. That's an extremely good match.

Betty the Bag Lady is going to be added shortly.

Buena Vista Leg Doe is back with her 15.6 cm match, which still sucks but at least it's something.

Kings County Tarp Doe now has 262 close matches.

Lime Lady is going to be added shortly.

We are about 12 hours away from finding out the identity of the Buffalo Cave John Doe-- announcement to come on Dec 31 at 1 PM:

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark County Community Center, 278 Community Center Drive, Dubois, to announce the positive identification of human remains that were found in the Civil Defense Caves in 1979.

BTW, Barron County John Doe from 1982 became an active case around the eleventh of December.
I wonder if Clark County John Doe is the convict mentioned in that presentation I shared a while ago. It would certainly fit with a description of an interesting life! I also think that Liv was correct in her guess that Marion County Jane Doe was the mystery Jane Doe from that same presentation.

Strange how Vernon County Jane Doe doesn’t have any close matches yet. I wonder what her admixture looks like? That’s one I’m really hoping they can solve.

These are only her GEDMatch matches though. The Google Drive does not include matches from FTDNA.

Good point! Hoping the wheels have been turning on her case and we may see a resolution in 2020. She looks a bit Eastern European in the postmortem photo but you never really know for sure.

Interesting article, but the DNA Doe Project were not involved with the identifications as far as I can see.
Please keep this thread DDP oriented.
