Interesting article, thanks for posting it Winward1. It's always baffled me why an executed prisoners rights extend past death with regards to DNA in a national database. I'd be very interested in someone explaining if they have the legal knowledge. Maybe a verified lawyer?

Aside from that, I think it's a great idea which can give many families closure even if the perp can no longer be brought to trial.

I would love to see this done for Tammy Zywicki's case. I wonder what it would take to get Lonnie Bierbodt's dna into a data base.
